Duties & Responsibilities:
Diagnoses malfunctions and performs vehicle repairs (e.g. adjust/test steering, electrical, cooling, lubricating, braking systems, drive trains, suspensions, power steering units, clutches, transmissions and oil, temperature, gas regulating components, adjust/test/rebuild engines etc.) and related assigned duties within qualification level, in accordance with all relevant Federal, State/Provincial and local guidelines and requirements. Test-drives vehicles to ensure repair resolved the problem
Arranges for and obtains appropriate inspections and approval of all major repairs before vehicle is released from maintenance facility
Maintains a safe, clean, productive and efficient work area including ensuring work area is in compliance with all relevant Federal, State/Provincial and local guidelines and requirements
Identifies and reports any additional maintenance and/or repairs found necessary in conducting assigned repairs and maintenance including repairs and maintenance required to be performed by Technicians with a higher qualification level
Records time spent, parts used and repairs and/or maintenance conducted on appropriate form
Advises Lead Technician of unsafe maintenance conditions or practices and/or vehicle abuse
Performs road calls and on the road repairs as assigned
Qualifications
Certified technician must possess a 310T or 310S
Minimum 3 years of fleet maintenance of heavy fleet shop maintaining repair and engine rebuilds on Diesel truck or bus technical experience
Hands on experience of diesel and or gasoline engines within a fast paced large fleet bus, charter or trucking environment
Must be experienced with computerized diagnostics
General shop computer knowledge, purchasing, and budget management experience
Excellent computer skills, Word and Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Organizational skills are a plus

Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in forklift maintenance and repair in a regulated industry environment.
Valid forklift technician certification or equivalent mechanical certification

Proficiency with diagnostic tools, multimeters, and standard mechanical tools
Valid driver's license with clean driving record

+ Reads and interprets manufacturers' and airline's maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
+ Performs 100-hour, progressive, isochronal, phase, periodic, and other hourly or calendar inspections, examines reciprocating engines for cracked cylinders and oil leaks, and listens to operating engine to detect and diagnose malfunctions, such as sticking or burnt valves, inspects jet engines and components for cracks, corrosion, foreign object damage, burned areas, distortions, security, warping, wear, and missing segments.
+ Inspects jet engine turbine blades to detect cracks, distortion, corrosion, burn-out, security, or breaks, tests engine operation, using testing equipment, such as ignition analyzer, compression checker, distributor timer, ammeter, and jet calibration (Jetcal) tester, to locate source of malfunction.
+ Work involves replacing or repairing worn or damaged components, such as carburetors, alternators, magnetos, fuel controls, fuel pumps, oil pumps, and engine mounted gearboxes, and compressor bleed valves using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment; removing engine from aircraft, using hoist or forklift truck, disassembling, and inspecting parts for wear, cracks, security, or other defects, and repairing or replacing defective engine parts and reassembles and installs engine in aircraft.
+ Adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories, performs preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections, performs miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including flushing crankcase, cleaning screens and filters, greasing moving parts, and checking brakes.
+ Supervises the jacking and towing of aircraft, enters in the maintenance records description of the work performed and verifies the work was performed satisfactorily, may service engines and airframe components at line station making repairs, short of overhaul, required to keep aircraft in safe operating condition, may specialize in work, repair and modification of structural, precision, and functional spare parts and assemblies, and may specialize in engine repair. This worker may be required to be licensed by Federal Aviation Administration.
**Minimum Requirements** :
+ Valid up-to-date A&P license.
+ If no A&P license, shall have Three (3) years aviation maintenance experience, Two (2) years rotary wing aircraft experience, and Two (2) years on the assigned UH60 (MDS).
+ All experience must be within the Six (6) most recent years.
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for a facility credentials/authorization at the work location.
+ Tools are Required; must possess own shadowed/etched Tools and Toolbox.
**Knowledge and Skills** :
+ Possess good communication skills; be adaptable, diversified and capable of troubleshooting entire aircraft system.

The Satellite Airframe Technician II interacts with customers and collaborates with Duncan Aviation team members to provide exceptional customer service.
Essential Job Functions
* Performs inspections, servicing and repairs of the most complicated nature on airframe / avionics systems and components on a variety of airframes in a timely, clean, safe and professional manner with no rework and a superior level of quality, craftsmanship and efficiency. Makes sound technical decisions as a technician and when functioning as Qualified Inspector (QI). Proficiently and consistently locates and uses the appropriate technical data to accomplish any and all tasks.
* Efficiently and effectively troubleshoots, function tests and repairs the most complicated aircraft systems across a variety of airframes with little supervision.
* Prepares various documents for record keeping purposes, as required by Company policy and FAA regulations (i.e. turnovers, removal sheets, personal training log, etc.). Demonstrates proficiency of Duncan Aviation work order system, service plans, Tracker and outside maintenance tracking programs by completing accurate and timely discrepancies and corrective action statements, Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives (AD) Compliance statements, final inspection, closing of squawks and closing of work orders. Coordinates and ensures the completion of customer log book entries for work performed on a customer's aircraft.
* Assists with developing and maintaining relationships with area customers, communicating with sales and marketing teams, and maintaining the Company's customer database (CRM) to seek and solicit service opportunities. Responds to customer requests and issues regarding airframe and/or avionics service work.
* Accepts full ownership of assigned projects, prioritizing and communicating with customers, Company personnel, OEM's, outside contractors and vendors, as necessary. Ensures the safety and security of customer's equipment during all maintenance phases.
* Assists with managing and maintaining adequate and appropriate parts inventory, calibration of assigned tooling, working condition and cleanliness of support vehicles and office / shop spaces.
* Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Multiple Shifts Available.
The base compensation range for this role is $30.47 - $35.55 per hour.
Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors including but not limited to: minimum and preferred qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, and location.

Education and Experience Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. 2 years aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical). A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license required. Valid Driver's License required. Position Purpose:Perform various technical functions of aircraft maintenance, repair, replacement, and modification of key aircraft components to ensure proper operation. Perform aircraft maintenance and perform troubleshooting and repair duties requiring accuracy and skill.Job Description Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions:
Perform required. maintenance and necessary servicing of all aircraft mechanical systems .
Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot mechanical and functional components of the aircraft including airframes, engine components, landing gear, electrical components, and control systems .
Coordinate with inspection to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection and documentation requirements .
Properly complete work order sign-offs, shift turnovers, and other paperwork in a timely manner .
Ensure that all work accomplished meets quality standards and specifications .
Properly identify (tag) customer property and equipment. Store aircraft components and other customer property securely and safely .
Follow standard operating procedures and JSAs when operating ground support equipment .
Operate and oversee use of special support equipment used in removal and installations of major components .
Coordinate with other departments to arrange for the overhaul or repair of customer property as needed .
Additional Functions:
Apply 6S and Lean Initiatives to keep shops, hangars, and aircraft work areas clean .
Properly use and maintain company-provided tools and equipment .
Coordinate movement of aircraft, as required. .
Maintain knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, Repair Station and Quality Control manuals, and company policies and procedures .
Perform other duties as assigned.Other Requirements:
Knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures for various aircraft models and systems.
Knowledge of pertinent technical reference materials (maintenance manuals, IPCs, Service Bulletins, structural repair manuals, engineering drawings, ADS, etc.).
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
