Responsibilities Position Summary
As the Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Technician, you will impact PSA Airlines' business growth by conducting aviation repairs and services that allow for operations to be on time. By executing maintenance procedures in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company standards, you are ensuring safe and reliable flights.
Job Responsibilities
Will perform tasks necessary to comply with Federal Aviation Regulations and accept the responsibility for work performed by themselves and/or in conjunction with others and sign for same on the Company's approved forms.
Keep work areas clean. Return all equipment and tools to assigned areas. A&P Technicians will report all inoperative or faulty equipment to the Maintenance Supervisor or Lead Mechanic in charge.
Work will consist of and include any and all phases of repair and maintenance of aircraft with the aid of the employee's own tools, specialty tools provided by the Company, the use of test equipment, and Company-supplied technical manuals.
In certain cases, and A&P Technician may be authorized to perform required inspection items and assist in Company training programs.
Will at the commencement of each repair or inspection initiate the proper documentation. Parts tags will include a complete description of the discrepancy on all removed parts. Determine if the work to be performed is a Required Inspection Item.
Verifying, through proper documentation, that any part installed on any aircraft or component is approved for that aircraft or component and has been visually inspected and is free of damage or contamination.
Assure that hangar workshops and other areas assigned are maintained in an orderly manner.
Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor through the Lead Mechanic.
Position Specifics Qualifications
Required
Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid, state-issued Driver's License.
Capable of using respirators and other personal protective equipment including eye and hearing protection.
Must possess or have ability to obtain a U.S. Passport or equivalent within 90 days of starting position.
Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
Must be able to demonstrate authorization to work in the U.S.

Work typically requires a thoroughly comprehensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures and replacement of components, a thorough knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modification and repair and the ability to determine functionality of non-complex electrical systems. Familiarity and ability to use NAVAIR IETMS.

Employees receive a Health and Welfare benefit of $8.00 per hour paid up to 80 hours on a bi-weekly basis.

ICMS is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I - Sheet Metal (Night Shift) to provide aircraft maintenance services to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS, U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) for the Medium Range Surveillance (MRS) Product Line. To ensure that aircraft remain in top condition, ALC currently completes program depot maintenance (PDM) (described as a total overhaul of an airframe) every four (4) years on each of the USCG's aircraft. During the overhaul process, any required repairs, modifications, and/or upgrades are also completed during this process. ALC may also complete overhauls and repairs for various other Government aircraft and components. In support of the USCG's PDM program, the USCG requires Aircraft Maintenance Services (AMS) for aircraft, components, Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and various other parts and components in support of USCG aviation. For this position, the specific aircraft that will be maintained will include the USCG HC-144 A/B and HC-27J.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the position will include but not limited to:
Documents maintenance as per Quality Assurance (QA) and established regulatory requirements
Maintains high state of cleanliness and utilize a clean-as-you-go process when executing maintenance duties
Performs regular Foreign Object Damage (FOD) walk-downs
Maintains situational awareness and mitigate risks
Complies with processes and procedures as per DHS/Department of Defense (DoD) documents and publications

Job DescriptionPosition: Aircraft Mechanic I (General) Type: Full Time INTER-OP is currently seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I (General) to provide support to the United States Coast Guard (USCG), Aviation Logistics Center (ALC). The Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center provides centralized logistics support for all Coast Guard aviation missions. As the sole industrial complex for Coast Guard aviation, ALC provides depot level maintenance, engineering, supply, procurement, acquisition, and information services.
Responsibilities
Service, repair, and overhaul aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure airworthiness.
Troubleshoot malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, hydraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems.
Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures, such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls, and plumbing and hydraulic units, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment such as shears, sheet metal brake, welding equipment, rivet guns, and drills.

Remove engines from aircraft, using hoist or forklift truck.
Disassemble and inspect parts for wear, cracks, and airworthiness.

Perform preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections.
