Using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and standard scales. Being familiar with a variety of aircraft materials, including aluminum, steel, titanium, plastic, and advanced composites. Verifying application and condition of installed Low Observable (LO) materials for conformity to specifications, determining material and time required for repairs, and making corrections or reinstallations as needed. Setting up and operating various types of material testers and mixers. Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required to safely perform job tasks.
