Responds to the requests of the Mechanical Lead, Foreman or General Foreman and the Manager of Ride Maintenance as assigned.
Properly lubricates all park rides.
From blueprints, drawings, models or verbal instructions, general mechanical work is performed using a variety of hand and power tools and standard measuring instruments.
Makes standard shop computations relating to dimension of work. Selects materials necessary for the work.
Through walking and climbing along all areas of the park's rides, inspects all mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic aspects through visual and auditory observations to ensure safe and proper operation. Also inspects the structures of all steel coasters.
Communicates concerns to supervisor and/or, using own judgment, makes necessary repairs. Logs and documents all safety checks and repairs.
Provides guest service according to Company standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Company Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
Meets Company's attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's attendance policies.
Adheres to Company's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee

The Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) is responsible for maintenance and repairs to keep aircraft working safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the maintenance and preventive maintenance of aircraft, components and equipment.
Determine airworthiness of aircraft and components, in accordance with established procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations.
Service and inspect aircraft, components and related equipment.
Perform aircraft jacking, lifting, towing, and manual movement.
Operate and inspect powered and non-powered ground equipment.

A person in this position maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures, structural components and engines of complex to extreme difficulty, maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components, and applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and applies technical expertise in restoring equipment condition and operation. This worker also applies professional technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or manufactures' manuals. Work typically requires a thoroughly comprehensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures and replacement of components, a thorough knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modification and repair and the ability to determine functionality of non-complex electrical systems. Individual must be able to inspect and verify readiness for government inspection/acceptance of: organizational and intermediate (O/I) level Low Observable Aircraft Structural Maintenance (LOASM) performed on B-2 aircraft; back shop repairs that include components manufactured/fabricated from drawings as part of the repair process; corrosion management treatments; and correct preparation and application of coatings on B-2, T-38 and AGE/SE. Must confirm all work performed complies with published technical data, engineering dispositions and unit procedures. Specific aircraft maintenance experience required includes: coating surfaces of aircraft with paint, lacquer, epoxy, resin or other material, using brushes, rollers, spray guns and other devices; removing old paint from aircraft; using liquid paint remover and scraper; preparing surfaces with sandpaper and steel wool; applying acid solution or using steel wool to prepare aluminum surfaces to insure that paint adheres to surface; masking and covering portions of surfaces not to be painted; and painting insignia, letters or numerals on aircraft surface, using stencils. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: two years of Organizational/Intermediate B-2 LOASM.

General
This is a full-time position that will report to the Director of Maintenance and interacts with the Director of Operations, the Chief Pilot, Systems Operations Control staff, and the Company's flight crews. The responsibilities include the day-to-day aircraft maintenance needs of the Company involving a variety of maintenance tasks relating to the Company's aircraft and engines. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of all FAR aircraft maintenance requirements. Good communication skills are required, and the successful candidate must be able to exhibit the values and culture of the company while working with flight crews in a fast paced/dynamic environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform aircraft maintenance per manufacturers' recommendations and adhere to approved procedures and data while performing their duties;
Meet aircraft at transit stations, checks aircraft maintenance logs, and responds to discrepancies entered into the logbook;
Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on aircraft;
References the Aircraft Maintenance Manual, the Illustrated Parts Catalog, the Structural Repair Manual, the Component Maintenance Manuals, and the wiring diagrams to perform work on aircraft; Completes required paperwork accurately using procedures set forth in the General Maintenance Manual (GMM);
Uses only approved and certified hardware, parts, and equipment to be installed or used on aircraft;
Promotes teamwork amongst maintenance personnel and flight crews;
Helps maintain facilities and equipment as directed by the leadership team;
Upholds safety and security procedures and awareness;
Has the ability to obtain additional qualifications through training and education as needed;

Qualifications
High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) Diploma, or higher is required
Valid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant Certificate is required
Ability to successfully pass assessment which demonstrates basic knowledge of line maintenance under part 121 operations
Two (2) years' experience on commercial aircraft in a part 121 environment
Ability to travel to airport/aircraft field locations with little or short notice
Ability to drive tugs, trucks, taxi aircraft, lift trucks, snorkel lift, boom lift and tractor and/or other maintenance vehicles
Ability to communication effectively; in both oral and written communication
Ability to crawl, bend, kneel, climb, and stoop frequently in confined spaces
Ability to work under pressure in a team environment
Possess and maintain a valid Driver License and a driving record from the state of your primary residence that meets the Company's insurance standards
Active Passport

Summary of Essential Duties:
Read and utilize blueprints, maintenance manuals, ATA codes, illustrated parts catalogs, service bulletins and other maintenance documents to troubleshoot and complete work assignments
Updating maintenance and repair logs
Running diagnostic tests
Perform routine maintenance operations or repair of the aircraft including aircraft engines, power plant and /or aircraft components according to all specifications.
Perform hourly, daily, and monthly inspections and examinations of aircraft components, including de-icing, hydraulic systems and landing gear, for leaks, cracks, burned areas, foreign object damage, warping, distortions, missing segments, wear, breaks, or other issues.
Perform inspections during assembly of part and after repair or installation of component.
Documenting maintenance procedures to include component damage, component origin, and condition of component, components, or equipment.
Practice safety conscious behaviors in all operational process and procedures.
Performance of daily scheduled and non-scheduled inspections, maintenance, repair, and alterations of aircraft.
Troubleshoot defective aircraft systems and components in an effective manner.
Use gauges and diagnostic tests to detect malfunctions.
Use power and hand tools (e.g., cranes, grinders, wrenches, etc.)
Complete all tasks in the allotted time frame and to the quality standards of our company, our customers and the FAA
Promote safety within the workplace by monitoring others and yourself to guarantee all tasks are performed within the safety manual guidelines, and communicate with other mechanics and supervisors to coordinate repairs and keep apprised of safety concerns.

Work Environment:
Airport ramp/warehouse environment, subject to varied weather conditions including hot or cold weather.

* Rivet structural assemblies and parts using all tools required. to do the job (e.g. portable riveting guns, pneumatic guns, pneumatic drills, counter sinks, rivet shavers, files, reamers, rivets). Must display the ability to remove fasteners without damaging structure .
* Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations, type size and hole pattern for rivets, cut and form plastics and follow standard operating procedures when using adhesives, sealants, and solvents .
* Check all work and ensure a defective free assembly prior to final inspection .
* Maintain and use all logs and records (e.g. MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs) .
* Align and assemble parts to be riveted using jigs, holding fixtures, pins, clamps, and fasteners. Utilizing proper tooling, shape and form complex angles and configurations according to blueprint specifications or written/verbal information .
* Make repairs per Discrepant Material Tags (DMT), Material Review Request (MRR), Production Change Orders (PCO), performs necessary rework to ensure installations meet conformity .
* Maintain a neat and orderly work area, supports the company 5S Program, and complies with all safety regulations. Use personal protective equipment as required.
* Able to work with minimal supervision on duties and tasks .
