This position is responsible for inspecting, testing, adjusting, repairing, and performing other tasks related to the maintenance and repair of airframe and engine systems and components.
2nd shift incentive 10% increase
Responsibilities of this position include:
Performs inspections, servicing, and repairs of a complex nature on various aircraft systems and components
Efficiently and effectively troubleshoot and function test referencing manufacturer's technical documents across a variety of airframe, engine and component systems
Leads aircraft projects as directed by the Crew Chief and Supervisor
Expertly prepares and completes various documents for maintenance/ modification record keeping purposes, as required by FAA Airworthiness Regulations, Elliott Aviation Policies and Processes, FAA Approved Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals, and personal training logs (OJT)
Proficiently and consistently locate and uses the appropriate technical data to accomplish any and all tasks
Support, maintain, and comply with all Federal, OSHA, State and local regulations, and Elliott Aviation's Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies and Processes
Perform related duties, as assigned.

1.Performing a variety of aircraft maintenance tasks, including:
Conducting annual aircraft inspections and documenting maintenance needs.

Inspect aircraft engine parts to determine and/or perform NDT requirements.
Utilizes applicable database system in order to retrieve information regarding parts inventory, manufacturing models, serial numbers, and/or other pertinent information to ensure proper documentation.
Refers to technical publications, specification sheets and/or other regulatory requirements in order to ensure that all tasks have been completed in proper sequence and required signed-off.
Customer contact and travel (up to 25% of the time) may be required.

Position Requirements:
1 - 5 years or more experience in gas turbine engine/components maintenance and repair.
FAA Airframe and Power Plant license required or must be acquired within 1 year of job award.
Previous engine maintenance experience in the aerospace field on turbine engines.

Education, Experience and Credentials
Four to ten years' minimum related general aviation aircraft mechanic preferred.
Prior experience working on FireBoss aircraft preferred.
FAA Airframe & Power Plant (A & P) Certificate required. IA designation preferred.
Two-year Technical or Trade School degree preferred.
Ability to communicate in other languages, specifically Spanish, would be preferred, but not required.

Aircraft Maintenance Technician Overview:

* Refers to technical publications, specification sheets and/or other regulatory requirements in order to ensure that all tasks have been completed in proper sequence and required signed-off.
* Customer contact and travel (up to 25% of the time) may be required.
