Work involves most of the following: planning and laying out all types of sheet-metal maintenance work from blueprints, models, or other specifications, setting up and operating all available types of sheet-metal working machines, using a variety of hand tools in cutting, bending, forming, shaping, fitting and assembling, and installing sheet-metal articles as required.
+ Read and analyzes work request and applicable specifications or similar work data.
+ Develop and draw working sketches showing view, section, or profile.
+ Manufactures and fabricates aircraft sheet metal parts, panels, doors, etc., from various serviced aircraft. Such aircraft articles have numerous combined straight and curved edges or irregular curves and planes such as fuselage, door assemblies, windshield panel angles, washers, firewalls and straight brackets. + Forms metal using cornice brake, punch press, drill press, and similar metal forming tools.
+ Finish and smooth edges of metal sheet after cutting and assembles component sheet metal piece with rivets, screws, nuts and bolts. Aligns, drills and reams material for installation of various types of riveting and taking precautions to protect dissimilar metals.
+ Applies necessary protective compounds, special insulating protective tape, plastic cement, fiberglass resins, etc.
+ Independently lays out template, transcribes information from template and manufactures double contour parts with configuration in several planes.
+ Assembles and fastens fabricated parts by installing bolts, rivets, screws and/or seaming.
+ Ensures finished aircraft parts meet quality standards for soundness, strength, appearance in accordance with specification and/or similar requirements.
+ Employee may be required to work inside fuel tanks (e.g., UH 60) or other confined spaces.
+ Follows all safety procedures and for using appropriate personal protective equipment to include checking protective devices for proper operation and maintains a safe clean work environment.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ **Valid up-to-date A&P license.**
+ If no A&P license, shall have three (3) years aviation maintenance experience, two (2) years rotary wing aircraft experience, and two (2) years on the assigned (MDS) UH-60 Preferred.
+ All experience must be within the six (6) most recent years.

**What You Will Do** ** **
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in Atlanta, GA as an A&P Technician. Are you an engine mechanic with a passion for aviation? Do you enjoy company paid travel and opportunities to see other parts of the country? Take off on an exciting new career adventure! As the A&P Technician, you will perform a variety of duties, including, but not limited to servicing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and removing equipment. You will inspect parts/components, repair hot and cold sections of our PT6 engines, and more in support of our service center network. In this role, you will work Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Travel for this role could be up to 25% to support Mobile Repair operations as required.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Servicing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and removing equipment
+ Conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements to products in accordance with specific customer specifications.
+ Manage technical products, services logistics and provisioning, quantity surveying, and configurations to assigned customers.
+ Troubleshoot technical problems and issues, recommending actions to company or customer representatives while assessing product needs in accordance with customer specifications
+ Up to 25% Travel
**What You Will Learn**
+ How to serve as local on-site RTX representative to the customer's organization, managing statements of work to meet customer and contract requirements
**Qualifications You Must Have** ** **
+ HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6+ years of experience as an A&P Technician in an MRO environment
+ Valid A&P License
+ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

+ Degree in Aviation Maintenance Management
+ Shop/Bench refurbishment experience
+ Experience with the inspection of engine parts refurbishment, troubleshooting, repairs and return to service of engines, modules and components
+ PT6 Hot section experience
+ PT6 Cold section experience
+ Airframe experience with Pratt & Whitney Canada (PWC)-powered aircraft
+ Heavy hangar/FBO/field experience - rigging, R&I, MRP's, aircraft interface
+ Customer service experience

The salary range for this role is 53,100 USD - 100,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
