Overview The Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) is responsible for maintenance and repairs to keep aircraft working safely and efficiently. Responsibilities * Responsible for the maintenance and preventive maintenance of aircraft, components and equipment. * Determine airworthiness of aircraft and components, in accordance with established procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations. * Service and inspect aircraft, components and related equipment. * Perform aircraft jacking, lifting, towing, and manual movement. * Operate and inspect powered and non-powered ground equipment. * Perform structural repair, inspects and identifies for prevention and repair. * Complete aircraft maintenance forms entries and enters data into the Maintenance Data System, ensures entries are accurate and complete. * Responsible to maintain a clean and orderly work area. * Demonstrate behavior in accordance with Endeavor Air Code of Conduct in all Company business dealings and decisions. * Demonstrate a high level of focus on customer service. Job Summary: Responsible for the preventative maintenance, repair, installation of equipment, troubleshooting of electrical and electronics systems and upgrades to existing controls and instrumentation systems. Ability to learn Allen Bradley Logix, Factory Talk and Metrics suites for troubleshooting purposes. Ability to learn Siemens Series 7 language and software suites troubleshooting purposes. Performs any and all duties as directed by Supervision. Education, Experience, Skills and Competencies: GED or High School Diploma with at least 3+ years experience in manufacturing. Prior experience in industrial controls and instrumentation. Intermediate computer skills (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.) Excellent troubleshooting knowledge and fully capable of electrical testing tools. Experience within PLC's, analog controls, sensors and VFDs. Experience working with outside vendors and contractors.
