Essential Functions
* Inspects university aircraft by performing very detailed inspections and preventive mechanical maintenance in accordance to the standards established by the university, federal regulations, and industry best practices.
* Diagnoses and repairs university aircraft as needed. Determines airworthiness of aircraft and components ensuring all protocol is followed in regards to Federal Aviation regulations. Ensures timely scheduling of maintenance in order to least impact client's flight schedule and provide for high degree of aircraft availability.
* Maintains electrical systems that include wiring, electrical connections, and the replacement of instruments.
* Troubleshoots, inspects, tests, repairs, and services aircraft and engine systems to prepare aircraft for flight. Initiate and document any nonconforming materials, hardware, software, tools, parts, assemblies, or portions thereof, according to specifications, processes, and procedures.
* Maintains proper and updated records required by the University and Federal Aviation Authority regulations.

Minimum Qualifications
Level I: High school diploma and 2 years of general mechanical experience OR completion of an FAA-Approved Aviation Maintenance Technician School.
Level II: High school diploma or equivalent and 18 months experience in providing general and preventative maintenance to aircraft plus one of the following: Airframe Certification or Powerplant Certification OR completion of an FAA-Approved Aviation Maintenance Technician School plus one of the following: Airframe Certification or Powerplant Certification.

What You'll Do:
Promote Safety. Take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others at all times in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards.
Repair and Maintain Plant Equipment. Perform repairs and maintenance throughout the plant including screen changes, conveyor belt repair and adjustment, wear parts replacement, crusher liner changes, and water pump service. Perform cutting, grinding, and welding as needed.
Inspect Equipment and Structures. Perform daily inspections and maintenance of the plant equipment in order to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations to maximize production and minimize interruptions.
Monitor Processes and Materials. Monitor and review the plant, specifically various aggregate crushing, washing, and screening areas to identify problems and ensure safety and materials compliance.
Document and Record Information. Enter and maintain service and lubrication reports regarding the plant equipment used to ensure preventative maintenance is up to date.
Perform General Physical Activities. Perform a variety of tasks that assist with the operation of the plant, including cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling materials.
Additional Responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.

Experience. Previous experience in the aggregate or construction industry is preferred.
Knowledge of Best Practices. Knowledge of general principles and practices of industrial maintenance, construction, or aggregate production is preferred.
Flexibility. Must be able to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
Mechanical Skills. Must have some knowledge of industrial tools, their uses, and maintenance.

This technician will be qualified to support our airframe. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.
Responsibilities
* Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
* Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
* Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company's information security standards.
* Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
* Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
* Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.
Minimum Required Qualifications
* Two (2) years turbine powered helicopter experience
* Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
* High School diploma or GED equivalent
* Valid State issued Driver's License
* Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
* EMS systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning
* Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
* Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
* Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
* Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
