We're hiring a Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet of aircraft. This Lead technician will be qualified to support our King Air C90 airframe. This is a key role in ensuring and managing our team so they can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.
Responsibilities
Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs.
Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company's information security standards.
Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Five (5) years turboprop and/or turbine powered fixed-wing experience
Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
Valid State issued Driver's license
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
EMS Systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning
Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.

Qualifications
High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) Diploma, or higher is required
Valid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant Certificate is required
Ability to successfully pass assessment which demonstrates basic knowledge of line maintenance under part 121 operations
Two (2) years' experience on commercial aircraft in a part 121 environment
Ability to travel to airport/aircraft field locations with little or short notice
Ability to drive tugs, trucks, taxi aircraft, lift trucks, snorkel lift, boom lift and tractor and/or other maintenance vehicles
Ability to communication effectively; in both oral and written communication

Experience
* Previous experience with Beechcraft 99 and B1900, Embraer EMB-120, Fairchild SA227, Saab 340B aircraft is preferred
* Previous experience with GE T700/CT7, PT6A, PW118 and TPE331 series powerplants preferred
* Experience within a fast-paced, scheduled maintenance operation
Requirements
* Must hold a valid FAA Aircraft Mechanic certificate with Airframe & Powerplant ratings
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
* Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English and be able to communicate effectively with other employees
* Must be able to interpret documents such as policy, repair and safety manuals
* Must meet airport badging requirements, including a TSA Security background check
* Successful completion of pre-employment required DOT drug screening and other required background checks

Essential Job Functions
1. With minimal supervision, removes and installs interiors including carpeting, insulation, soundproofing, fabric accessories, etc. in aircraft using hand tools according to Duncan Aviation approved procedures.
2. With minimal supervision, strips materials, preps and repairs panels. Performs minor modifications and recovers flat work and accessories using various fasteners and hand tools.
3. With supervision, performs major modifications.
4. Assists with training team members to develop and enhance their job knowledge and performance.
5. With minimal supervision researches, prepares, and signs off various documents for record keeping purposes as required by Duncan Aviation approved procedures, manufacturers' maintenance manuals, and FAA regulations (i.e. turnovers, 8110-3's, and removal sheets, flammability testing, W.O. Sheets, personal training log, and other work order related documents supporting the review squawks and expected hours).
6. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Record and track non-conformance items and punch-list resolutions.

Discipline Leadership
Lead and coordinate all QCx activities for the Mechanical discipline.

Planning & Coordination
Review design documents, commissioning plans, and mechanical equipment specifications.

Mechanical Systems Commissioning

Verify system performance against design and operational criteria.
Participate in Functional Performance Testing (FPT) for equipment such as chillers, pumps, and heat exchangers.
Testing & Documentation
Support vendors and trade partners during FPT activities.
Record test data, deviations, and corrective actions.
Develop and maintain comprehensive commissioning documentation, including test reports, turnover packages, and punch lists.
Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution
Identify and resolve system issues during startup and testing.

Quality, Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with OSHA, ASHRAE, NFPA, and project-specific standards.
