Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Program Manager to oversee and manage our FAA Part 147 Aviation Maintenance Technician School. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall administration, planning, and coordination of the program, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and maintaining the highest standards of education and training. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a thorough understanding of the aviation maintenance industry.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the FAA Part 147 Aviation Maintenance Technician School, including administration, budgeting, and staff management.
Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, including Part 147 and other applicable standards.
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve program goals and objectives, in alignment with the school's overall mission and vision.

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation maintenance or a related field, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate
In-depth knowledge of FAA regulations, including Part 147 and other relevant standards
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed
Preferred:

Five (5) years' experience as a licensed A&P mechanic with at least (3) years' experience working on rotorcraft similar to the H-65.
Have a thorough knowledge of aircraft structural repair procedures and corrosion related repairs and corrosion control treatments.

Key Responsibilities
Comprehensive Overhaul & Repair: Perform repairs, overhauls, and recondition of ejection seats and associated components, restoring full operational capability across multiple Martin-Baker platforms, including Mk10, Mk14, and Mk16 ejection seats.
Explosive Handling & Safety: Safely de-arm ejection seats, ensuring all explosive elements are properly managed and the seat is rendered safe for maintenance operations.
Functional Testing & Calibration: Execute precise testing, troubleshooting, and adjustments to verify that all ejection seat components operate within defined performance parameters and comply with safety regulations.
Regulatory Compliance & Documentation: Maintain meticulous records, reports, and technical documentation to ensure strict compliance with industry standards, government regulations, company policies, and customer requirements.
