The Airframe Technician, with limited supervision, assists with testing, adjusting, and repairing, as well as other general tasks related to the maintenance and repair of airframe systems and components on a variety of airframes in a safe and clean work environment according to manufacturer's specifications, approved procedures, and customer specifications. This position prepares and completes appropriate documentation in a timely manner. The technician will also perform high-quality inspections, servicing, and maintenance of airframe systems and components on various airframes using proper hand tools in a timely, clean, safe, and professional manner with no rework. Accurate ordering of general aircraft parts as needed is also required.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform minor troubleshooting, function testing, and repair of aircraft systems and components with limited supervision.
+ Prepare various documents for record-keeping purposes as required by company policy and FAA regulations (e.g., turnovers, removal sheets, personal training log).
+ Demonstrate proficiency in the work order system by completing accurate and timely discrepancies and corrective action statements, Service Bulletins, and Airworthiness Directives (AD) Compliance statements.
+ Complete final inspections and close squawks and work orders.
+ Maintain and repair airframe systems and components on Business Jets including Bombardier, Falcons, Gulfstream, and Dassault Falcon.

**Work Environment**
The work environment includes working inside a temperature-controlled hangar that is heated with heated floors in the winter. Shifts are available as follows: 1st shift from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, 2nd shift from 2:00 pm to 12:00 am Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, and a weekend shift from Friday-Sunday working three 12-hour shifts with a 10% shift differential to make up for the additional 4 hours.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.

All activities to be in accordance with Repair Station requirements ensuring all parts and assemblies meet conformance.
Set up, maintain, and operate necessary test equipment in accordance with required. documentation to perform functional and operational tests of mechanical and electrical aircraft components for return to service.
Inspect all detail parts using blueprints, component and/or overhaul manuals and other required. maintenance data to ensure conformity requirements are met.
Remove skins and related components on flight controls and secondary structure components, locate and install/reinstall parts.
Demonstrate effective repair techniques using acceptable practices including troubleshooting, soldering and application of protective coatings.
Maintain and utilize all required. paperwork in accordance with FAA RS requirements.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Comply with all company and legislative environmental health and safety regulations.
Additional Functions:
Lays-out, removes, fabricates and/or installs major and minor repairs to flight controls and other secondary structure components(I.E: honeycomb core sandwich construction techniques, composite repair techniques, test bench operations, hydraulic press operations, servicing carts) .
Fabricate and repair sheetmetal and associated mechanical parts, components and/or equipment by rolling, shrinking, stretching, braking, riveting or other mechanical means. .
Remove & install APUs and perform all required. APU maintenance for ALL Gulfstream aircraft models. .
Fabricate and repair wiring and electrical assemblies and harnesses utilizing acceptable repair and fabrication processes including splicing, soldering, and pinning of wires. .
Utilize training and tools to effectively troubleshoot complex electrical circuits and or systems during component repair process. .
Assist with training and instructing of Acft Component Repair I Techs. .
Resolves routine questions and problems, referring the more complex issues to higher levels. .

Duties
As a AIRCRAFT ENGINE MECHANIC, WG-8602-8/10, duties include:
(1) Troubleshoots malfunctioning engines and interrelated propulsion system components, determines degree of disassembly or certification required, repairs or replaces defective components, diagnostic computers and associated hardware. Analyzes malfunctions using schematic and wiring diagrams, blueprints, manufacturer's specifications, computer diagnostics data, inspection findings, trending data and aircrew debriefs. Performs engine run operation on installed and uninstalled engines to troubleshoot malfunctions or verify findings. Removes and installs engines and auxiliary power units. Operates, Automated Ground Test Systems (AGETS), trouble-shoots and repairs aircraft jet engines.
(2) Troubleshoots, modifies, repairs, and performs sequential disassembly and assembly of gearboxes and auxiliary power units. Performs evaluations that must be accomplished at critical points in the repair/build-up process using a variety of quality characteristics, consisting of complete systems or components and assemblies that undergo many steps in a repair process and have highly critical tolerances. Performs test cell operation of engine and aircraft run up, analyzes operating parameters, makes final adjustments and verifies that engine is operating within acceptable parameters for safe operation in the aircraft.
(3) Performs scheduled and special evaluations on installed engines, auxiliary power units, and associated airframe-mounted systems. Interprets Engine Management trend data and investigates trend anomalies to eliminate catastrophic engine failure or damage by the prediction and detection of adverse trends towards known failure modes before they occur.
(4) Performs command directed and locally established in-progress inspections (IPI) (certifying acceptable performance of all conventional or modified aircraft engines prior to their being installed in the aircraft or placed in inventory) of propulsion system components and associated equipment to determine adequacy of workmanship, materials and maintenance. Makes final certification of completed work and critical engine build measurements, annotating by signature that work and tolerances are correct. Certifies aircraft is safe for flight by Clearing Red X and other Red symbols.
(5) Requisitions, processes, and accounts for supply assets as required by the repairable processing system. Verifies compatibility of engine components. Performs computer data entry of engine and component information such as component location, status and tracking information into the Core Automated Maintenance System (CAMS) for fighter aircraft, and G081, (CAMS for Mobility) for multi-engine transport aircraft. Uses computer-based systems to account for time expenditures of maintenance performed.
(6) Provides technical advice and troubleshooting expertise to other work centers when propulsion systems affect or are affected by interrelated aircraft systems, such as: electro-environmental, pneudraulic, fuel and avionics systems.
(7) Provides on-the-job training to lower graded personnel or newly assigned personnel regardless of grade. Trains lower graded employees on proper certification techniques of installed engine components. Provides instruction in repair and inspection techniques of aircraft engine components and related equipment.
(8) Examines recurring malfunctions and initiates corrective actions by submission of quality deficiency or software deficiency reports. Devises repair procedures based on findings and recommends program changes or data corrections to correct software or technical data deficiencies. Recommends revisions to intermediate maintenance directives when necessary.
(9) Serves as the hazardous materials manager as required. Interprets and follows state and federal regulations regarding the reclamation, storage and transportation of hazardous materials.
(10) Prepares for and participates in various types of readiness evaluations such as Operational Readiness Inspections (ORI), Inspector General (IG) Inspections, Unit Effectiveness Inspections and mobility and command support exercises. Performs additional duties such as, hydrazine response, aircraft or equipment decontamination, structural fire fighting, fire/crash/rescue duty, security guard, snow removal, munitions loading and handling, heavy equipment operator, maintenance of facilities and equipment, and assists local authorities during natural disasters or civil emergencies.
(11) Performs other duties as assigned.

The Airframe Technician, with limited supervision, assists with testing, adjusting, and repairing, as well as other general tasks related to the maintenance and repair of airframe systems and components on a variety of airframes in a safe and clean work environment according to manufacturer's specifications, approved procedures, and customer specifications. This position prepares and completes appropriate documentation in a timely manner. The technician will also perform high-quality inspections, servicing, and maintenance of airframe systems and components on various airframes using proper hand tools in a timely, clean, safe, and professional manner with no rework. Accurate ordering of general aircraft parts as needed is also required.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform minor troubleshooting, function testing, and repair of aircraft systems and components with limited supervision.
+ Prepare various documents for record-keeping purposes as required by company policy and FAA regulations (e.g., turnovers, removal sheets, personal training log).
+ Demonstrate proficiency in the work order system by completing accurate and timely discrepancies and corrective action statements, Service Bulletins, and Airworthiness Directives (AD) Compliance statements.
+ Complete final inspections and close squawks and work orders.
+ Maintain and repair airframe systems and components on Business Jets including Bombardier, Falcons, Gulfstream, and Dassault Falcon.

Aircraft Fueler/Line Service Representative

The Line Service Representative performs all of the Line Service duties, including towing, refueling and servicing all transient, maintenance and airlines aircraft safely and according to Duncan approved processes, procedures and Best Practices. In addition, this position operates the department's Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and assists in the maintenance and cleanliness of GSE and designated work areas; services as back-up to the Front Desk and Fuel Farm; and performs OJT for lesser experienced representatives and is available to work alternate shifts. The representative greets and interacts with customers at arrival and departures and during their interim stay; and engages in ramp and facility safety and security procedures.
Essential Job Functions
1. Competently refuels, tows and wing walks all maintenance, transient and airlines aircraft using applicable ground support vehicles according to Duncan approved processes, procedures and Best Practices. Checks and adds oil, fuel additives and other fluids as needed. Assists maintaining functioning and cleanliness of departmental equipment and work areas. Monitors weather conditions to ensure safety of aircraft and the need for storm stacking.
2. Greets team members, customers, vendors, visitors and the general public, and serves as company liaison in promoting a professional and positive company image per Duncan Aviation customer service standards. Initiates dialogue with our guests to understand and exceed their needs (i.e. fuel, ground transportation, baggage handling, etc.). Directs maintenance customers to appropriate persons/areas of Duncan Aviation. Monitors flight tracking software for inbound aircraft. Marshals all incoming and outgoing aircraft.
3. Performs additional specialized functions, including front desk back-up, fuel farm back-up, OJT to lesser experienced representatives, inventory control, working alternate shifts, etc.
4. Calculates and records fuel usage and sales, and completes necessary paperwork for proper billing and inventory accounting.
5. Provides exterior and interior cleaning of company and transient aircraft. Assists with maintaining and cleanliness of department equipment, designated work areas, courtesy and ramp vehicles.
6. Fills Jet and Avgas trucks at the fuel farm. Maintains fuel and fluid levels for GSE, courtesy and ramp vehicles. Assists with general fuel farm maintenance and upkeep.
7. Monitors ramp and facility for safety and security and assesses, and responds as appropriate.
8. Performs other duties as assigned by management.
