Responsibilities of the A&P Mechanic:
As an A&P Mechanic III, you will be responsible for repairs, replacement and maintenance of the key components of aircrafts.
You'll perform the necessary checks in regards to the mechanical and functional components of the aircraft, including the testing of and replacement of defective or faulty parts.
You'll use a variety of tools and equipment to perform diagnosis on parts to be replaced, and ensure repairs and maintenance are compliant with national and international standards of work, all while maintaining safety and cleanliness of the hanger or workshop.
You will demonstrate knowledge in one of the three main components of aviation maintenance including airframe maintenance, power plant mechanics, or Airframe & Power plant (A&P) components.

Role Purpose
As a member of the Menzies Aviation Aircraft Fueling Team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient fueling/defueling and servicing of aircraft. You will need to perform simple mathematical functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing with regards to weight, measurement and volume in order to interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions as they pertain to fueling. This role requires you to maintain a safe and secure work environment, in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures.

What you will be doing
* Drive and operate fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and stationary carts to fuel/defuel aircraft in a safe and efficient manner
* Responsible for accurate accounting of fuel transactions
* Perform daily Quality Control checks on equipment
* Maintain equipment in clean and functional condition
* Ensure the correct loading and balancing of fuel
What we are looking for
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* Must pass all pre-employment testing including drug screen, FBI background, employment history, and physical
* Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English
* Ability to perform basic math calculations
* Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
* Prior experience preferred including possession of a Commercial Driver's License or experience in the Oil and Gas Industry (preferred)

Principal Accountabilities
Operate and maintain standard maintenance tools and equipment safely
Perform preventative maintenance, including annual PMs
Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues independently
Complete work orders with detailed documentation and communicate pass-downs effectively
Required Qualifications
