We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Amusement Ride Mechanic to join our team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of amusement rides and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and guest safety. This is a full-time position offering a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) match. Responsibilities: Conduct routine inspections (daily, weekly, monthly, annual, and as required) of rides and equipment, using both visual and auditory assessments to identify issues and perform corrective actions promptly. Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance , including inspection, repair, and testing of ride components. This may involve servicing or replacing parts such as hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, gears, chains, sprockets, hoses, brakes, clutches, wheels, bearings, gearboxes, springs, and other mechanical systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to minimize downtime and ensure guest safety. Follow established repair procedures and maintain detailed records of inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs. Submit all required documentation to management in a timely and organized manner. Communicate ride status updates clearly and effectively, both verbally and through written reports. Ensure all equipment is maintained in a safe and operational condition , in compliance with applicable codes, laws, company policies, and industry best practices. Perform advanced tasks based on experience, such as welding (MIG, TIG, and Arc), metal fabrication, and operating machinery including lathes, mills, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools. Read and interpret technical documentation , including manufacturer manuals, service guides, and mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic blueprints, to support accurate repairs and component replacements. Support other maintenance activities and projects as assigned by leadership. Qualifications: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Valid state driver's license. 2-4 years of verifiable experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in an industrial or amusement park setting. Solid understanding of basic mechanical principles, including gear ratios, torque, proper use of hand tools, and mechanical terminology. Familiarity with power transmission components such as bearings, bushings, couplers, and shafting. Demonstrated knowledge of pneumatic and/or hydraulic systems; proficiency in both is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Comfortable working at heights up to 300 feet on ladders, platforms, or other elevated structures. TASK DESCRIPTION: Aircraft Mechanic I (23021): Aircraft Mechanics I must have a combination of experience to repair engines, sheet metal, structural, hydraulic, electrical, power train and general mechanical maintenance of moderate difficulty, required to meet the assigned missions. Makes repairs to aircraft and follows direction of higher graded workers. The Aircraft Mechanic I troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti- icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems. This mechanic repairs, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft structures, such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls, and plumbing and hydraulic units, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment such as shears, sheet metal brake, welding equipment, rivet gun, and drills. This worker reads and interprets manufacturers' and airline's maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. Supervises the jacking and towing of aircraft, enters in the maintenance records description of the work performed and verifies the work was performed satisfactorily, service engines and airframe components at line station making repairs, short of overhaul, required to keep aircraft in safe operating condition, specialize in work, repair and modification of structural, precision, and functional spare parts and assemblies, and specialize in engine repair. May be required to be licensed by Federal Aviation Administration. May require specialization in sheet-metal, electric work, avionics or other aircraft systems related disciplines. Aircraft Interior Technician-III Under minimal supervision, install fabricated aircraft interiors including cabinetry components, galleys, closets, divans, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, trim, panels, carpet and other similar accessories for the completion of VIP aircraft. Determine test method and prepare fluids and parts for nondestructive inspection. Interpret nondestructive inspection test results and provide information about defects to repair center. Analyze wear metal content reports on engine lubricating oil and other fluids and recommend corrective action. Establish radiation areas for radiographic operations. Computer and monitor personal exposure areas for radiographic operations, and monitors personnel exposure data. Perform nondestructive inspection on structures, components, and systems. Detect flaws such as cracks, delamination, voids, processing defects, and heat damage using penetrant, eddy current, magnetic particles, radiographic, optical, and ultrasonic test equipment. Determine metallurgical information of components according to alloy, temper, conductivity, and associated factors, Operate, maintain, and inspect nondestructive equipment. Perform operator maintenance and service inspections on shop equipment and tools. Ensure lock out and tag out procedures are accomplished prior to maintenance on equipment. Perform silver recovery functions. Handle and dispose of hazardous waste and materials. Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent is required. U.S. military technical school or specialized training course is desired; certification of education level is required. Valid up-to-date A&P license (optional ) Shall have three years aviation maintenance experience, two years rotary wing aircraft experience, and two years on the assigned Mission Design Series (MDS). All experience must be within the six most recent years. Must be trained and qualified per NAS 410 or ASNT-CP-189 to the level assigned. Previous experience in the maintenance, modification, and repair of tactical aircraft systems of the type being serviced and their associated components. Completion of an initial Non-Destructive Inspection Level II training course and current basic qualifications. Three (3) or more years' experience as an aviation inspector. Valid Driver's License. Clearance Requirements Must be able to obtain and maintain a NACI(T1) Public Trust Security Clearance. Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization to work at this facility. Knowledge & Skills Thorough knowledge of aircraft systems on the assigned MDS. Basic knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, hydraulic press machine, and those listed in the assigned MDS Maintenance Allocation Chart (MAC). Working knowledge of technical publications and Logistics Information Systems. Able to prioritize workloads to maintain schedules on assigned projects Possess the level of experience to inspect all required aeronautical type maintenance to be performed by aircraft mechanic. The incumbent receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician, will occasionally be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks, and may be required to make entries in aircraft logs and records. Physical Requirements/Working Environment Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for extended periods throughout the day. Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands. Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders. May be required to lift/push/pull heavy objects whose weight may exceed 50 pounds. Must be able to type using a standard keyboard to communicate through e-mail and various software applications. Will handle dirty parts and lubricants. Will be required to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Must be able to pass a Respirator Physical and Fit Test qualification. May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, forklift, etc. May work in maintenance shop or outside. Must be able to work in a shop where the environment is drafty, noisy, and dirty. May be exposed to extreme noise from operating equipment. May be exposed to electrical shock hazards or work near moving mechanical parts or vehicles. May be expected to work in austere environments and all-weather conditions.
