Northrop Grumman is seeking AircraftMechanics for our Battlefield Airborne Communications Node (BACN) program. Positions are based out of Robins AFB, Georgia with Domestic and International travel. (An additional International compensation package is offered for long term deployments).
Battlefield Airborne Communications Node (BACN) is a communications system used by the US Air Force and special forces and missions Partners. BACN allows military and coalition forces to exchange information seamlessly.
+ BACN Operates at high altitudes on platforms like the E-11A modified Bombardier BD700 business jet and EQ-4B Global Hawk, BACN **Overcoming terrain limitations:** mitigates communications issues caused by mountains, terrain, and distance, which are particularly relevant for Special Forces operating in challenging environments.

BACN enables a Special Forces operatives using a cell phone to communicate directly with a fighter pilot for targeting information,. BACN' plays a critical role in facilitating communication between different branches of the military and improving mission success in critical scenarios, including those involving special operations.

This position is located at Robins AFB, GA, and **requires you to work on site daily as well as working any shift as needed, when needed.**

**Duties include:**
1. Perform Aircraft maintenance of all aircraft systems in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations.
2. Execute **line-maintenance/flight** **operations support** for BACN E-11A (Global Express and Global 6000) aircraft including all electrical & mechanical troubleshooting, fault isolation & repair, parts replacement, line repairable unit (LRU) replacement, calibration tasks, testing, engine repairs and/or replacements & proper documentation in aircraft forms (Air Force Form 781 series).
3. Maintain FAA required records, manuals, and inspection forms
4. Conduct all levels of maintenance and inspections - flight line, in-depth, depot-level) of aircraft and components - in accordance with USAF maintenance procedures & in compliance with associated airworthiness approvals.
**Basic Qualifications:**
1. FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification or the ability to quickly obtain. Required to Start.
2. A High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of **relative Aviation Line-Maintenance experience** .
3. Possess or be able to quickly obtain a DOD Secret security clearance. An Interim Secret, at a minimum, is required to start.
4. Possess or be able to quickly obtain a US Passport.
5. Ability and willingness to work any shift as required by the Program.
6. Ability and willingness to travel as required by the program to include international travel. (possibly multiple trips per year at very short notice).
**Preferred Qualifications:**
1. Current US Passport
2. Current FAA A&P License.
3. Current Secret or Higher DoD Security clearance.
4. Experience in connector repair, wire harness manufacture, and in-depth electronic and electrical troubleshooting.

6. Experienced in altimeter/transponder checks utilizing pitot-static & transponder test equipment.
7. RVSM certified and knowledgeable on FAA RVSM guidelines

9. Engine run qualification and engine borescope training on Rolls-Royce BR-710.
10. Bombardier Global XRS/Express/6000/6500 experience and/or certificated training on these platforms **.**

Primary Level Salary Range: $32.28 - $34.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. Responsibilities Position Summary
As the Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Technician, you will impact PSA Airlines' business growth by conducting aviation repairs and services that allow for operations to be on time. By executing maintenance procedures in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company standards, you are ensuring safe and reliable flights.
Job Responsibilities
Will perform tasks necessary to comply with Federal Aviation Regulations and accept the responsibility for work performed by themselves and/or in conjunction with others and sign for same on the Company's approved forms.
Keep work areas clean. Return all equipment and tools to assigned areas. A&P Technicians will report all inoperative or faulty equipment to the Maintenance Supervisor or Lead Mechanic in charge.
Work will consist of and include any and all phases of repair and maintenance of aircraft with the aid of the employee's own tools, specialty tools provided by the Company, the use of test equipment, and Company-supplied technical manuals.
In certain cases, and A&P Technician may be authorized to perform required inspection items and assist in Company training programs.
Will at the commencement of each repair or inspection initiate the proper documentation. Parts tags will include a complete description of the discrepancy on all removed parts. Determine if the work to be performed is a Required Inspection Item.
Verifying, through proper documentation, that any part installed on any aircraft or component is approved for that aircraft or component and has been visually inspected and is free of damage or contamination.
Assure that hangar workshops and other areas assigned are maintained in an orderly manner.
Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor through the Lead Mechanic.

Northrop Grumman is seeking AircraftMechanics for our Battlefield Airborne Communications Node (BACN) program. Positions are based out of Robins AFB, Georgia with Domestic and International travel. (An additional International compensation package is offered for long term deployments).
Battlefield Airborne Communications Node (BACN) is a communications system used by the US Air Force and special forces and missions Partners. BACN allows military and coalition forces to exchange information seamlessly.
BACN Operates at high altitudes on platforms like the E-11A modified Bombardier BD700 business jet and EQ-4B Global Hawk, BACN Overcoming terrain limitations: mitigates communications issues caused by mountains, terrain, and distance, which are particularly relevant for Special Forces operating in challenging environments.
BACN provides Enhancing situational awareness and a more complete picture of the battlespace to ground units, aircrews, and command centers, including special operations forces.
BACN enables a Special Forces operatives using a cell phone to communicate directly with a fighter pilot for targeting information,. BACN' plays a critical role in facilitating communication between different branches of the military and improving mission success in critical scenarios, including those involving special operations.
We are seeking FAA A&P Certified AircraftMechanics/Technicians who also have a current Secret Clearance. Do you have these qualification?
Are you ready to put your experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, Our Defense Systems Sector wants you to join our team as an E-11A SCA AircraftMechanic 2. This position is located at Robins AFB, GA, and requires you to work on site daily as well as working any shift as needed, when needed.
**These positions are Service Contract Act positions.
***Position requires the ability to deploy nationally and internationally for periods of up to 180 days to support CONUS and OCONUS operations when required, to backfill staffing needs, or when USAF customer requirements dictate. (Might be multiple deployments per year)
Once employed for the role - you must be willing and able to do required travel within 72 hours of notification of the travel.
While on travel, you will typically receive at a minimum, per diem and/or additional compensation dependent upon location.

Once employed for the role - You must be willing, able to take, and pass a deployment medical physical to meet short-notice worldwide travel needs to meet customer requirements.
Duties include:
1. Perform Aircraft maintenance of all aircraft systems in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations.
2. Execute line-maintenance/flight operations support for BACN E-11A (Global Express and Global 6000) aircraft including all electrical & mechanical troubleshooting, fault isolation & repair, parts replacement, line repairable unit (LRU) replacement, calibration tasks, testing, engine repairs and/or replacements & proper documentation in aircraft forms (Air Force Form 781 series).
3. Maintain FAA required records, manuals, and inspection forms
4. Conduct all levels of maintenance and inspections - flight line, in-depth, depot-level) of aircraft and components - in accordance with USAF maintenance procedures & in compliance with associated airworthiness approvals.
Basic Qualifications:
1. FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification or the ability to quickly obtain. Required to Start.
2. A High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of relative Aviation Line-Maintenance experience.
3. Possess or be able to quickly obtain a DOD Secret security clearance. An Interim Secret, at a minimum, is required to start.
4. Possess or be able to quickly obtain a US Passport.
5. Ability and willingness to work any shift as required by the Program.
6. Ability and willingness to travel as required by the program to include international travel. (possibly multiple trips per year at very short notice).
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Current US Passport
2. Current FAA A&P License.
3. Current Secret or Higher DoD Security clearance.
4. Experience in connector repair, wire harness manufacture, and in-depth electronic and electrical troubleshooting.
5. Adept at using electronic and electrical troubleshooting tools beyond the use of a simple meter.
6. Experienced in altimeter/transponder checks utilizing pitot-static & transponder test equipment.
7. RVSM certified and knowledgeable on FAA RVSM guidelines
8. Experience in flight control and landing gear rigging and operational checks.
9. Engine run qualification and engine borescope training on Rolls-Royce BR-710.
10. Bombardier Global XRS/Express/6000/6500 experience and/or certificated training on these platforms.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
