The Aviation Accessory Mechanic will perform intermediate and depot level repairs and/or Overhaul of aviation engine accessories in accordance with approved data and published work scopes.
Aviation Accessory Mechanic Duties:
Disassembly, sub-assembly and final assembly of engine and QEC accessories.
Testing of accessories and related components.
Understand configuration & fits requirements during build.
Know and perform proper servicing procedures.
Ensure all work is performed IAW posted work scopes.
Aviation Accessory Mechanic Requirements:
Prior experience as an aviation mechanic or test cell operator, with an emphasis on the overhaul, repair, and/or troubleshooting on aircraft accessories e.g. fuel control & fuel pumps.
General understating and willingness to learn with standard aviation procedures.
Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of tools and measuring equipment.
Knowledge of aviation engines and components. PT6 and/or RR T56/501 accessories desirable.
Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to comply with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) requirements.

The Aircraft Maintenance Technician is responsible for all facets of the preventive maintenance and repair of airplanes to ensure aircraft are airworthy and all technical aspects are documented properly.
Compensation: This is a non-exempt position compensated at $41.00 per hour for the first year of employment, consisting of a $37.00 base rate plus a $4.00 A&P license premium.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned from time to time.
Performs tasks associated with meeting aircraft at transit stations, including checks on aircraft maintenance logs, and responding to discrepancies entered in the logbook
Performs routine and non-routine maintenance on aircraft
References all Maintenance Manuals- Illustrated Parts Catalog, Structural Repair Manual, Component Maintenance Manuals, and the wiring diagrams to perform work on aircraft
Completes required paperwork accurately using procedures set forth in the General Maintenance Manual (GMM)
Uses only approved and certified hardware, parts, and equipment to be installed or used on aircraft
Maintains Amerijet facilities and equipment as directed by the Leadership team
Upholds safety and security awareness of Team members and assets
Obtains and maintains special qualifications such as Quality Control RII, Airworthiness release, taxi run up, CAT III authorization, and Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum (RVSM).
Assures that work is accomplished in the best workmanship manner and that an airworthy condition exists on all work performed by them.
Notifies their leader immediately of any condition that may arise that could present a problem of parts, materials, airworthiness or workmanship.

Ensure that tools and equipment are correctly used and handled by Technicians for both safety and to reduce breakages, wear and tear. Require Technicians to report any tool malfunction promptly to the Stores with supporting documentation as per the Company's processes.

The number of Technicians a Lead will manage depends on the Workscope and Project Manager's plan. Personnel to be managed include sub-contractors.

Audit and verify timekeeping records and travel schedules for accuracy.

Support onboarding of new technicians and ensure all training requirements are met.
Assist with shift coverage adjustments during operational disruptions or technician absences.
Be available to provide shift coverage or operational support as needed, including on short notice, weekends, or holidays.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required.
5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead technician role preferred.
Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, safety standards, and maintenance procedures.
Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
Proficiency timekeeping systems.
