The main responsibility of the Service Hub Flex Technician will be to support either the TEB, Teterboro, NJ or HPN, White Plains, NY Service Hubs depending on aircraft demand, this position can be based in either TEB or HPN. PL Developments, also known as PLD, is a leading manufacturer, packager, and distributor of over-the-counter (OTC) pharmaceutical products and consumer healthcare goods The Lead Mechanic oversees daily mechanical operations within blister and carton packaging, managing personnel and ensuring all equipment meets cGMP, SOP, OSHA, FDA, and safety standards. The chosen candidates will be responsible for the following: * Assemble and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components and accessories, using hand tools and power tools. * Check for corrosion, distortion, and invisible cracks in the fuselage, wings, and tail, using inspection equipment. * Clean, refuel, and change oil in line service aircraft. * Conduct routine and special inspections as required by regulations. * Disassemble engines, and inspect parts such as cylinders for corrosion, wear, warping, cracks, and leaks. * Examine and inspect aircraft components, including landing gear, hydraulic systems, and de-icers to locate cracks, breaks, leaks, or other problems. * Prepare and paint aircraft surfaces.
