Requisition Summary The Lead Aircraft Technician reports to the Director of Maintenance and will be responsible for completing maintenance on company owned aircraft to include scheduled, unscheduled, flight discrepancies, due items, and inspections. Work closely with the Director of Maintenance and other mechanics to ensure assigned aircraft is airworthy and available for service, including additional duties assigned. With minimum supervision, complete the duties described in this section, including supporting paperwork (e.g., aircraft logbook entries, aircraft maintenance tracking program CAMP/CMP entries, PACCAR maintenance record keeping, etc.) Job Functions / Responsibilities * Postflight Inspections. * Repair of discrepancies identified by a crew member or during maintenance. * Update the Aircraft Maintenance Logbook prior to departure. * Create a maintenance planning document for upcoming scheduled maintenance on each assigned aircraft. * Work closely with approved maintenance organizations as the need arises, to schedule maintenance (Scheduled or Unscheduled). * Visit approved maintenance organizations while company aircraft are being repaired. * Attend annual aircraft specific training courses by approved training providers. * Collection and drop off deliveries to include parts and hangar supplies. * Maintain stock and consumables as well as ordering parts. * Work flexible aircraft schedule, which may include weekends, evenings, and occasional split shifts to launch and recover company aircraft. * Complete annual departmental and corporate training. * Other duties assigned by the Director of Maintenance. * Remain available via company provided cell phone (Email/Text/Phone). * Inspect, clean, and perform preventative maintenance on aircraft, vehicles, support equipment and special tools. * Document and track facility inspections. Qualifications & Skills Required: * At least 5 years' experience maintaining business jet aircraft. * Demonstrated experience as a lead mechanic with the ability to work independently. * Team player with excellent communication * Ability to interpret FAA regulations. * Ability to pass TSA background screening for airport ID badge and ramp driving privileges. * Valid Passport and driver's license. * Able to provide personal tools and toolbox for company work assignments. Preferred: * Dassault Falcon and/or Gulfstream experience preferred. * Safety Management Systems (SMS) experience preferred. * Inspection Authorization (IA) certificate preferred. * Aviation Maintenance Degree preferred.
