What You Will Do: Performs operational checks and engine runs to ensure air-worthiness prior to departure. Inspects aircraft in accordance with OEM Light or Heavy Maintenance Manuals Evaluates removed components for serviceability and documents discrepancies (squawks). Reinstalls and tests components after completed inspection. Troubleshoots and repairs all airframe systems as required (hydraulics, landing gear, etc.). Reads and interprets maintenance manual procedures, blueprints, technical manuals, and schematic diagrams when required. Analyzes a variety of mechanical problems and determines the cause and best method of repair. Check and repair fuel, oil, oxygen, heating, cooling and pressurization systems. Utilize mechanics hand tools, precision measuring instruments, gauges and calibration test equipment. Use sound judgment and technical aptitude to make decisions regarding maintenance, sequence, and techniques, troubleshooting and discrepancy resolution. Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED A valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License is required. Minimum 2 years corporate aviation experience on Learjet, Hawker, Falcon, Challenger, and/or Embraer (Legacy/Praetor/ Phenom) Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Must be available to work second shift, with overtime and weekends as needed.
