Duties & Responsibilities: Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic The A&P Mechanic is responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of flight school aircraft. The mechanic will be accountable for completing all work in accordance with AeroGuard Company procedures and requirements, as well as all applicable regulatory requirements. This is a five day a week shift with a sign-on bonus of $1,000. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Must have strong interpersonal and team building skills.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Must have the ability to read and understand technical data such as maintenance manuals, parts catalogs, engineering drawings, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives.
Must have knowledge of federal regulations relating to Title 14 parts 43 and 91.
Assure that work areas are kept clean and organized.
Must be able to be flexible and work all shifts on an as needed basis.
REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION · Airframe and Powerplant license required at the time of hire. Must be able to obtain Inspection Authorization within three months of hire. EXPERIENCE · A minimum of three recent and consecutive years of GA experience as a certificated A&P. · Experience on Piper aircraft is preferred. · G1000 experience is a plus. SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Must be familiar with Microsoft Office and able to learn Talon RMS computer maintenance program.
