May assist other crafts as required under the direction of the primary craft. Maintains a clean work environment in the plant, shop, grounds, etc., as well as any areas worked in. Computer use to include entry of work orders, investigation of parts, access manuals and training. QUALIFICATIONS High school graduate or equivalent, preferably trade or vocational school. Definition: This is the journey and second working level for certificated Airframe & Powerplant technicians. Incumbents at this level work independently and inspect and repair aircraft, engines, components and systems and assess for damage, condition and method of repair, and work off site at outlying field locations, which may include assignment as a base mechanic.
