Sealer - Seal parts, assemblies and sub-assemblies fillet and fay, apply leveling compound or scotch cast etc. Pressure / Vacuum Test - Perform visual and auditory leak checks in aircraft sections Precision Bench Assembly - Assemble precision aircraft parts and assemblies such as landing gear, control linkage etc. Sub-Assembly - Assemble parts to make sub assemblies using templates, jigs, and fixtures Assembly / Installation Structures - Assemble structural parts, assemblies, and skins to make larger assemblies Assembly / Installation Doors - Pre- assemble, trim, fit , rig , seal, align, and adjust aircraft door systems Integral Fuel Cell - Apply sealing compounds to seal fuel cell and wing section components Inspection - Inspect and document non conformances on final assemblies, subassemblies, systems, and installations Verifies dimensions of parts using both mechanical and electronic measurement tools and, relative to these inspection duties, initiate and document corrective action for programming issues and other problems Setup and operate conventional and Computerized Numerical Controlled (CNC) fastening equipment, similar to Multi-Task Gantry Riveter's (MTGR's), Brotje's , C-Frames, IPAC's etc., to assemble components in accordance with engineering specifications Requirements: WORKERS MUST BE ABLE TO START ASAP! SUMMARY: Service, repair, and overhaul aircraft to ensure airworthiness. Works under moderate supervision to perform basic tasks associated with aircraft maintenance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties include the following items: · Repair, modify, replace, or otherwise perform routine aircraft maintenance work in a safe and timely manner. · Accurately completes required maintenance-related paperwork. · Communicate effectively with other maintenance personnel at all levels by keeping co-workers and leadership apprised of work progress and difficulties as they arise. · Complete on-the-job training (OJT) forms and any required reading in a timely manner. Compensation The base salary for this position is $20.77 - $21.75 (expressed as hourly for non-exempt), exclusive of benefits or potential bonuses. This position is eligible for a quarterly corporate bonus. If you are hired at ATS, your final base hourly rate will be determined by factors such as skills, education, and experience. In addition to those factors, we consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range noted above is the full base hourly range for the role. Hiring at the upper end of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth. Job DescriptionSalary: $32-$40 DOE Rainier Asphalt & Concrete: Fleet & Equipment Systems Mechanic Tacoma Rainier Asphalt & Construction is seeking a highly skilled Fleet & Equipment Systems Specialistwho is skilled at inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles, trailers, and equipment related to the asphalt and paving industry. Items include dump trucks, 1-ton diesel flatbeds, various pickups and smaller gas vehicles, air brake trailers, electric brake trailers, pavers, rollers, air compressors, skid steers, hydraulic skid steer attachments, and various small engine items. The successful applicant will have experience or can-do attitude necessary for repairing and managing the aforementioned items, and in particular, a great attention to detail for record keeping. Key Responsibilities: Inspection and Diagnosis:Inspects equipment to identify problems, often using computerized tools and diagnostic software. Repair and Replacement:Repairs or replaces defective parts using hand and power tools, and may consult service/operating manuals and wiring diagrams. Maintenance:Performs routine maintenance like cleaning, lubricating, and other various preventative maintenance tasks. Testing and Adjustment:Tests repaired equipment and makes necessary adjustments to ensure proper functionality for crew members. Record Keeping:Highly organized. Accurately maintains digital records of repairs, maintenance, and parts inventory. Travel and Field Work:Majority of work will occur either on job sites or in the equipment yard to ensure continuity for operations. Specialized Repairs:required from time to time. Technical Skills:A strong understanding of heavy equipment systems (engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, etc.) is preferred.
