We're hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Med-Trans. This technician will be qualified to support our EC135 airframe. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.
Responsibilities
Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company's information security standards.

Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.

Job Responsibilities
* Will perform tasks necessary to comply with Federal Aviation Regulations and accept the responsibility for work performed by themselves and/or in conjunction with others and sign for same on the Company's approved forms.
* Keep work areas clean. Return all equipment and tools to assigned areas. A&P Technicians will report all inoperative or faulty equipment to the Maintenance Supervisor or Lead Mechanic in charge.
* Work will consist of and include any and all phases of repair and maintenance of aircraft with the aid of the employee's own tools, specialty tools provided by the Company, the use of test equipment, and Company-supplied technical manuals.

Full-time Description
The Team Leader will report to and work closely with the Director of Service to set up a new repair station in Sarasota, Florida (SRQ) in advance of a new Pilatus Sales and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) operations facility scheduled for completion in 2027. Initial set-up will occur in a rental hangar at the Sarasota airport. Once construction of the new facility is complete, the Team Leader will assist the Director of Service and will be involved from the ground up through all major milestones, including the setup of a new repair station and transition into a state-of-the-art MRO facility.
The team leader maintains continuity of workflow by establishing and communicating priorities based on process specifications, schedule, and quality standards. In the early stages, the role will also require performing Aircraft on Ground (AOG) support across Florida, requiring travel to offsite locations.
