Responsibilities
Perform safety and mechanical inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on crushing plants, screens, conveyours, feeders, and support systems of the plant and equipment
Conduct preventative maintenance (PMs) including lubrication, fluid changes, screen replacements, belt adjustments, and component inspections
Replace bearings, rollers, pumps, motors, hoses, cylinders, and structural components as needed
Assist with plant rebuilds, relocations, and major shutdown maintenance
Complete detailed maintenance logs and work orders
Operate loaders, excavators, water trucks, haul trucks, skid steers, and other equipment as needed to support operations
Safely move materials, load stokepiles, and assist with plant cleanup and resets
Perform basic daily equipment checks before and after use
Communicate equipment needs and repair timelines with supervisor and operators
Collaborate with plant and mobile equipment teams to minimize downtime
Assist in training operations on equipment care and inspection practices
Address any housekeeping issues within the workspace; maintain a clean and organized work area
Drive to various facilities to perform maintenance and repair tasks; may also include periodic work at ready-mix plants
Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance problems to ensure minimum cost and prevent operational delays, to include but not limited to: hydraulic, mechanical, and pueumatice system issues
Understand and comply with MSHA rules and regulations; follow MSHA, company policies, and lockout/tagout procedures at all times
Identify and report safety hazards and/or equipment concerns immediately
Participate in safety meetings, inspections, and training programs
Other duties as assigned by manager

Must have a valid drivers license
2-5+ years of experience as a plant mechanic, or similar role
Experience with crushinng equipment (impact, jaw, cone crushers)
Knowledge of conveyor alignment, belt tracking, and belt splicing
Strong mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
Welding, fabrication, or cutting torch experience preferred
Provide own tools typically used in aggregate facility maintenance
Physical requirements: able to lift or move up to 100 lbs., stand, walk, climb, bend, stretch, kneel, crouch, and drive on rough terrain
Able to work in wet and/or dry conditions and extreme heat and cold
Strong communication, problem solving and leadership skills
Able to work well with others in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work extended hours or variable shifts as needed
Knowledge and experience in the operation and maintenance of crushers, wash plants, conveyors, material washers and various other types of fixed equipment used in the industry
Experience operating heavy equipment (e.g. loaders, excavators, ADTs, dozers and water trucks)
Follow MSHA, company safety policies, and lockout/tagout procedures at all times
Current MSHA training certification preferred

MV Transportation is seeking an "A" Level Lead Mechanic/Technician who will perform preventive maintenance inspections on various types of vehicles. He/she will manage a fleet of 56 vehicles, assign work to other Technicians, purchase parts, and process paperwork. The position requires the Technician, must be able to teach, to diagnose, inspect, and change or repair defective coach components, sub-components, and systems on vehicles as time permits, more complex repair techniques. The A Lead Technician must possess a CDL license with airbrakes and a passenger endorsement, a 609 and 608 air conditioning certifications and at least H or T series ASE certifications. This position will report to the General Manager. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Assign, monitor, and review daily work orders to ensure timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled repairs.
Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, HVAC, CNG systems, and other major vehicle components.
Lead, coach, and train mechanics of all levels (A/B/C) to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.
Support the Maintenance Manager in planning preventive maintenance schedules and tracking vehicle availability.
Inspect and sign off on completed repairs to ensure adherence to company, city, and CHP standards.

Task Description:
Aircraft Mechanic III (23023): Leads a team in the performance of aircraft maintenance, inspections, and scheduled / unscheduled maintenance. Processes the technical experience to supervise subordinate mechanics and provide technical guidance on maintenance operations on the airframe being supported. Capable of performing, supervising and inspecting the duties of Mechanic Is, IIs and IIIs. A person in this position maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures, structural components and engines of complex to extreme difficulty, maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components, and applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and applies technical expertise in restoring equipment condition and operation. This worker also applies professional technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or manufactures' manuals. Work typically requires a thoroughly comprehensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures and replacement of components, a thorough knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modification and repair and the ability to determine functionality of non-complex electrical systems. A detailed knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers, etc. is required. Must possess the experience and ability to provide technical support to structural/mechanical engineers and customers alike, must possess excellent organizational skills in prioritizing workload to meet aircraft delivery schedule. Seeking a motivated Airframe and Power plant technician joint our Aviation Maintenance Team based at Nellis Airforce Base, Las Vegas, Nevada. Daily responsibilities will be to perform scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and servicing activities on US Department of Energy Aircraft (Beechcraft B-350 airplane, Bell-412/212 helicopter and/or Leonardo AW139) operated by Mission Support and Test Services (MSTS), LLC.
Key Responsibilities
The NNSA Air unit is first and foremost an emergency response team. The emergency we are prepared for is rare. However, mechanics must be prepared to respond if activated. As such, MSTS has very reasonable but strict standby requirements for the response teams.
Standby requirements and considerations include:
Mechanics are required to be on standby as needed, usually 2-3 weeks at a time. Occasionally longer than 3 weeks depending on staffing.
Mechanics are paid $40 per day extra to be on standby.
Mechanics must be within 2 hours of your assigned base while on standby.
Mechanics on standby must have reliable cell phone reception.
Mechanics must remain fit to maintain the aircraft while on standby.
If called out, mechanics must be able to deploy for potentially several weeks straight.
Standby positions require an additional physical and various inoculations to maintain a deployable status.
Deployments for several weeks at a time are possible for both emergency response and non-emergency response missions.

Troubleshoot malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, pneumatic, hydraulic, ventilation and heating, flight surfaces and controls, dynamic components, and powerplant systems.
Use hand tools, power tools, machines, specific and general aviation test measurement and diagnostic equipment, and sets kits and outfits (SKO).
Inspect, repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft components/sub components to include rigging of flight control.
Read and interpret manufacturers' maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.

Preferred Qualifications:
Seven or more years' H-1 rotary wing experience
Ten or more years' rotary wing maintenance experience
Maintenance Control experience for (4) or more years with previous documented “Safe for Flight” experience.
Familiarity and ability to use NAVAIR IETMS.
Safe for Flight (SFF) qualification in H-1 aircraft and be able to obtain SFF certification upon hire
Seven or more years' experience with NALCOMIS/OOMA
Basic Corrosion Control Course

Automated Track and Balancing System (ATABS) Course (NATEC provides)

This position will support Tactical Air's fleet of fighter aircraft with over 75 years of combined experience in tactical aviation maintenance and more than 30 years of military adversary contract maintenance. The Maintenance staff are a dedicated team comprised of experienced, A&P-certified, and tactical aircraft mechanics, technicians, and logisticians who all work towards ensuring safe and seamless ground maintenance operations.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate for the Aircraft Mechanic position will be professional, highly productive, disciplined, team-oriented, technically astute, and responsive to the needs of the company, colleagues, and customers. This position will report to the Director of Maintenance and will perform organizational, intermediate, and limited depot-level maintenance to include inspection, operational test, repair, modification, and troubleshooting on all assigned aircraft, components, and equipment. Requirements
* High School diploma/GED with at least 1 year of applicable work experience.
* Current work experience in aircraft maintenance occupational field, preferably in the military or with a government aviation maintenance contractor.
* Experience with high performance military aircraft (F-5/T-38).
* A&P Certification, or ability to obtain certification.
* Support Equipment Operator License (Tow Tractor, N2 Servicing Trailer, and Mobile Start Unit at a minimum).
* Valid state driver's license.
* U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a government security clearance.
