We're hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Med-Trans. This technician will be qualified to support our EC135 airframe. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.
Responsibilities
Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company's information security standards.
Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.
Minimum Required Qualifications
EC135 Maintenance experience
Three (3) years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience with a minimum of six months helicopter maintenance experience during the last 24 months
Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
Valid State issued Driver's license
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
EMS systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning
Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.

Your role:
In your role as a Warehouse Aircraft Technical Inspector, you will serve as team member responsible for assessing the serviceability and condition of various aviation components IAW Army Regulations, Technical Manuals, policies, and procedures. **JOB DUTIES:**
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
+ Performing engine QEC buildup actions, both assembly and tear down.
+ Uses automated maintenance data systems to maintain equipment records, and document maintenance actions, maintains external fuel and grounding systems
+ Inspects, tests, and operates GSE to determine equipment serviceability and proper operation
+ Services equipment with fuel, oil, water, coolant, hydraulic fluid, refrigerant, and compressed air, disassembles and assembles malfunctioning GSE accessories and components
+ Removes, disassembles repairs, cleans, treats for corrosion, assembles, and reinstalls GSE components and accessories
+ Stencils and marks GSE in accordance with technical publications, stores, handles, labels, uses
+ Disposes of hazardous materials and waste in accordance with all state, local, and federal environmental standards and regulations
+ Operates, cleans, inspects, and services GSE towing vehicles; provides dispatch service for GSE, including positioning equipment to support aircraft maintenance and flying operations.
+ Practices good housekeeping, tool control, Foreign Object Damage prevention and safety at all times.
+ Additional responsibilities include working with a variety of repair and test equipment including welders, torches, pressure testers and electrical testers to name a few.
+ Completing all required documentation and tagging requirements of QEC items.
+ Order QEC parts from COMBS.
+ Refer to technical publications to determine specifications to be met.
+ Track and record calibration dates to insure that support equipment is up to date.
+ Keep files with documentation and certifications of calibrated equipment.
+ Ensure that equipment is sent out for calibration when due.
+ Ensure that all equipment is accounted for.
+ Assign I.D. numbers to each piece of equipment.
+ When turning over equipment to the operating command make certain to have them sign a receipt for all equipment to keep on file in COMBS.
+ Each LD. number must have a file of record.
+ Performs maintenance and inspections on (GSE) according to applicable maintenance manuals, manufacturer specifications **and** FAA regulations.
+ Research and order materials for repair _of_ support equipment.
+ Performs engine QEC build-up actions, i.e. assembly and teardown.
+ Cleaning of warehouse, shops, offices and restrooms as required.

* Perform assembly, installation, repair or replacement of aircraft electrical/electronic components and systems in the manufacturing of aircraft.

Airbus Helicopters is looking for an Senior Aircraft Technician (Electrical) to join our H125 team based in Columbus, MS.
You will be part of the team to perform work on assigned aircraft or parts in the avionics function. Tasks include fabrication, repair, and installation of aircraft parts, maintenance and repair of helicopters and support of helicopter specific programs. Also performing assembly, installation, repair or replacement of aircraft electrical/electronic components and systems in the manufacture, maintenance or refurbishing of aircraft and function check of components.

On the eastern border of Mississippi you'll find Columbus, home to our Helicopter manufacturing and assembly lines and Center of Excellence for the entire North America region. It's here that we produce the UH-72A Lakota Helicopters for the U.S. Army in addition to the H-125 aircraft for civil and commercial customers.

Your challenges:
Perform assembly, installation, repair or replacement of aircraft electrical/electronic components and systems in the manufacturing of aircraft.
Maintain close working relationship with assigned lead person with regard to schedules, priorities, availability of parts, supplies and tools, and special instructions as required.
Perform work from blueprints, sketches, vendor and service manuals, and other source data to obtain dimensions, locations, alignment, tolerances and other specification requirements.
Use a variety of standard and specialized hand tools, power equipment, measuring devices and test equipment in completing work assignments.
Assure that completed work complies with FAA regulations, customer requirements, and company specifications.
Coordinate with various departments regarding requirements for materials, supplies, equipment and job schedules.
Complete forms and records pertaining to completion of assigned work.
Your boarding pass:
Minimum of six (6) years of experience working on avionics in aircraft, preferably rotorcraft.
Required Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches and diagrams, and apply standard shop practices in the fabrication and repair modifications of aircraft structures and repairs.
Able to independently assess wiring issues and install components.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Familiarity with common aviation type tooling.

Vision: able to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings. Daily
Hearing: able to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on the production floor including safety warnings or alarms. Daily
Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications. Daily
Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts. Daily
Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 60lbs/27kgs. Daily
Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 60lbs/27kgs. Daily
Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools. Daily
Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on the computer. Daily
Squatting / Kneeling: must be able to bend, stoop and squat. Must be able to move about freely in areas with moving aircraft and parts; work in areas where exposure to chemicals and fumes will occur. Daily
Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor. Daily
Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice. Several times yearly
Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces. Daily
Personal Protective Equipment required: Required PPE includes, but is not limited to, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or Protective Gloves as required by site and/or customer site
Administrative position only PPE required: Steel-toed shoes are required for all shop floor visits, appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor.
