Job Description: This position performs aircraft maintenance on UPS fleet to meet or exceed airworthiness standards. Performs the change, removal, replacement, or upgrade of aircraft components to correct failures or implement changes. Conducts troubleshooting of complex pneumatic, hydraulic, engine, and structural components and systems. This position documents procedures per established processes to ensure regulatory compliance. The Aircraft Mechanic II (UH-60 Quality Control Inspector) inspects the repair and modification of aircraft structures, structural components, and engines of complex to extreme difficulty. Plans, conducts, and supervises aircraft technical inspections. Inspects and evaluates repairs and modifications to aircraft structures, structural components and engines. Inspects and evaluates maintenance of aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components. Applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions. Applies technical expertise in restoring equipment condition and operation. Participates in maintenance test flights and operation checks as required. Ensures compliance with aircraft configuration control, oil analysis Program and test measuring diagnostic equipment calibration. Provides lower-level technicians guidance in aircraft repair and technical inspection techniques and procedures according to directives, technical manuals, work standards and operational policies. Contributes input to development and implementation of quality control and ground safety programs to ensure compliance with contract specifications. PENDING CONTRACT AWARD Aircraft Mechanic I (23021): Aircraft Mechanics I must have a combination of experience to repair engines, sheet metal, structural, hydraulic, electrical, power train and general mechanical maintenance of moderate difficulty, required to meet the assigned missions. Makes repairs to aircraft and follows direction of higher graded workers. The Aircraft Mechanic I troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti- icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems. JOB DESCRIPTION: AIRCRAFT FUELER FLSA STAUS: NON-EXEMPT REPORT TO: STATION MANAGER AND VP OF STATION OPERATIONS Southern Airways/Mokulele is seeking dependable, professional individuals to fuel the aircrafts at our airport stations. General duties include but are not limited to: Fuel and de-fuel aircraft in a safe and efficient manner. Ensure correct loading and balancing of fuel. Follow safe loading/unloading procedures to correctly load the tanker truck. Verify truck is full for the subsequent shift. Properly and completely detail pass-down logs to subsequent shift. Accurately account for all fuel transactions. Complete daily fuel reporting forms/sheets and verify daily transactions are balanced and complete. Maintain equipment in a clean and functional condition; notify appropriate supervisors/maintenance of equipment repair needs and/or work with local mechanics to ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner. Complete daily truck inspection sheet and ensure all fluids are topped-off, all lights are properly functioning, and truck is ready for legal operation. When instructed by supervisor, between fueling, assist with marshalling aircraft, installing wheel chocks and tail stand, and loading and unloading bags. **The UH-60** **Aircraft Mechanic AM- I (Avionics/Electrician UH-60)** adjust, repairs and/or replaces electrical wiring and aircraft system avionics. Provides leadership, guidance, direction and training in addition to technical/hands-on aircraft maintenance support for C-40A (737-700C) aircraft. The candidate must have a broad and deep understanding of aircraft maintenance and maintenance management procedures and must also understand the theories, concepts, principles and techniques within these fields. PENDING CONTRACT AWARD Aircraft Mechanic III (23023): Leads a team in the performance of aircraft maintenance, inspections, and scheduled / unscheduled maintenance. Processes the technical experience to supervise subordinate mechanics and provide technical guidance on maintenance operations on the airframe being supported. Capable of performing, supervising and inspecting the duties of Mechanic Is, IIs and IIIs. A person in this position maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures, structural components and engines of complex to extreme difficulty, maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components, and applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and applies technical expertise in restoring equipment condition and operation. This worker also applies professional technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or manufactures' manuals. Work typically requires a thoroughly comprehensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures and replacement of components, a thorough knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modification and repair and the ability to determine functionality of non-complex electrical systems. A detailed knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers, etc. is required. Must possess the experience and ability to provide technical support to structural/mechanical engineers and customers alike, must possess excellent organizational skills in prioritizing workload to meet aircraft delivery schedule. Mechanic III / Maintenance Control Supervisor Functions: The Contractor Aircraft Mechanic III shall be able to release aircraft safe for flight using local Safe For Flight checklist, assign project/priority codes and direct cannibalization actions to meet the unit's maintenance plan and daily flight schedule. The government maintains the authority to release aircraft safe for flight when determined necessary. Final review and acceptance of aircraft prior to flight will reside with the pilot in command by signing an Aircraft Inspection and Acceptance Record "A" sheet. The Contractors training and qualification program shall include procedures used to train and designate contractor employees to certify aircraft safe for flight. In addition, the Supervisor will serve as the site lead and shall be able to perform maintenance in their respective qualifications.
