A&P Mechanic - Final Assembly/Flight Line Reports To: Director of Operations Status: Non-Exempt BASIC WORKER FUNCTION: Performs final installations, adjustments and testing procedures as helicopter goes onto flight line for final stage of manufacturing process, flight test, blade tracking, and sign-off. Recommends sign-off by authorized personnel during assembly, installation and/or repair process, or signs off under FAR 65.103, where appropriate. ADDITIONAL GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF TASKS: Tracks blades with pilot, and performs adjustments on blades and various helicopter mechanisms, adjusts fuel flows, etc until helicopter receives FAA approval and sign-off occurs. Does flight line repair and overhaul work for customer service as assigned. Signs off work as legally appropriate. Examines parts and assemblies for defects and to determine conformance to specifications and blueprints, and reports lack of conformance to the appropriate parties. Examines defective machinery and equipment in Assembly area to determine cause of malfunction, and reports need for repair to Supervisor. Installs and adjusts such complex assemblies as correlator assembly, main rotor assembly, tail rotor assembly, drive belt pulleys, exhaust manifolds, linkage connections for cyclic stick, heater hoses for cabin and fittings, and belt tension assembly, connects fuel lines, etc. Using power and hand tools performs all installations according to blueprints and specifications. Trains other workers. Serves as consultation resource with other workers. Observes all safety regulations. Other duties as required. This individual will be responsible for assembling and mounting hydraulic valves, fabricating and installing hydraulic hoses, and performing system installations on construction equipment and trucks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on mechanical experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Assemble and mount hydraulic valves and related components. Fabricate, crimp, and install hydraulic hoses for various applications. Install hydraulic systems and components on construction equipment and trucks. Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Test, diagnose, and troubleshoot hydraulic systems to ensure proper operation. Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on hydraulic components. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Collaborate with shop supervisors and other team members to complete projects on time. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred. 2+ years of experience working with hydraulic systems, valves, and hoses. Proficiency in reading hydraulic schematics and mechanical drawings. Experience using hydraulic hose crimping equipment and installation tools. Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting skills. Ability to operate forklifts, shop equipment, and hand/power tools safely. Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills. Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. Welding and fabrication experience a plus. Work Environment Shop and field-based work with exposure to heavy equipment. Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Some overtime may be required based on project schedules.

The Airframe Technician, with limited supervision, assists with testing, adjusting and repairing, and other general tasks related to the maintenance and repair of airframe systems and components on all models of Learjet business jets. Performs maintenance in a safe and clean work environment according to manufacturer's specifications, Duncan Aviation approved procedures and customer specifications. In addition, prepares and completes appropriate documentation in a timely manner. Essential Job Functions/Expectations * With proper training and limited supervision can perform high quality inspections, servicing, and maintenance on a variety of airframes. Can properly use hand tools in a timely, clean, safe and professional manner with no rework. Can accurately order general aircraft parts as needed. * With proper training and limited supervision, performs minor troubleshooting, function testing, and repair of aircraft systems and components. * Prepares various documents for record keeping purposes, as required by Company policy and FAA regulations (i.e. turnovers, removal sheets, personal training log, etc.). Demonstrates proficiency of the Duncan Aviation work order system by completing accurate and timely discrepancies and corrective action statements, Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives (AD) Compliance statements, final inspection and closing of squawks and work orders. * Consistently locates and uses appropriate technical data and follows verbal instructions when accomplishing assigned maintenance tasks. * Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
