Must have the ability to instruct lower graded mechanics, military and other personnel in the disassembly and re-assembly of crash damaged engines, transmissions, gearboxes, hydraulic components, and fuel controls sufficient for the exhibit to be returned to its shipping container.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Learn to assist and perform preventative and routine service on District vehicles as maintained at the MSAD No. 75 Transportation Garage.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
The Apprentice must be 18 years of age and may be a current student of MSAD No. 75, hold a high school diploma, or a HiSET/GED.
The Apprentice will be interested in the field of mechanical repair, with specific focus on school buses, mini buses, vans and all other applicable vehicles within the field of public education.
Interest or experience in routine maintenance and service of vehicles.
A valid Maine Class C Driver's License in good standing.
Maintain positive interactions with Employees and others at all times.
Interest in learning the field of vehicle and mechanical repair and maintenance.
Must be willing to work safely in all aspects of the Transportation Garage at all times.
