Managing the acquisition of purchase orders from customers as per the provided quotes. Coordinating service schedules with aircraft owners/operators and maintenance managers. Completing and submitting billing information and evaluation forms to our headquarters in Wichita, KS. Providing the necessary airworthiness documents to customers upon job completion. Traveling as required to customer locations via ground transportation, air travel, or airlines. Compiling weekly expense reports detailing costs for gasoline, entertainment, and customer relations. Signing off on all work orders and maintaining part traceability records. Conducting daily visits and/or phone communication with both current and potential customers. Developing and expanding sales in the assigned Regional Market. Seeking guidance and direction as needed for your duties. Keeping your supervisor/manager informed of the status of your work. Reporting problems and potential issues to your supervisor/manager as soon as possible. Maintaining a neat and orderly work area. Presenting a well-groomed appearance suitable for the role and context. Respecting the confidentiality of company, customer, and personnel information. Performing additional duties and tasks as assigned by your supervisor. Assisting and training other employees as required. Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED). Experience: Preferred sales experience, 1 year of orbital sanding experience preferred, auto body experience preferred, previous aircraft experience preferred, A&P license or AMT certificate preferred, sales experience preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using various measuring devices, strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read and interpret blueprints (preferred), ability to read and interpret technical manuals. Problem Solving/Decision Making: Ability to read and comprehend mechanical and technical manuals, applying them to practical field situations. Capability to work independently and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers, delivering exceptional customer service in a timely manner. Essential Job Functions/Physical Demands: The physical demands encompass standing on wings, moving in and out of cockpits, and working inside and outside aircraft. Travel is a requirement, with working hours ranging from 2 to 12 per day depending on demand. Ability to stand and/or sit for 8 hours a day. Ability to lift/carry weights of up to 70 lbs. Ability to twist, bend, and stoop for 8 hours a day. Ability to pinch and grip various tools with fingers and hands, using pushing and pulling motions for 8 hours a day. Ability to reach for 8 hours a day. Clear and effective communication skills. Proficiency in understanding and following work orders and process specifications. Capability to handle buffing and polishing tools for 8 hours a day. Comfort with climbing up and down ladders.
