Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
General Duties:
* Operate overhead cranes to maneuver large weldments into spray booths.
* Use sanders and grinders to prepare surfaces for finishing.
* Measure and record dry film thickness using gauges.
* Inspect weldments for defects and perform necessary repairs.

* Safely operate a forklift for loading and unloading parts and managing materials.
* Lift and secure lifting devices onto modules as needed while maintaining access to parts.

About the Role:
A day in the life: Our Industrial Painter would have meticulous attention to detail. You would be responsible for applying the coating to metal components with either a brush and roll method or an airless spray rig.
On a given day, as an Industrial Painter, you will:
Prepare the metal components by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying appropriate primers to ensure proper adhesion of coatings.
Apply a wide range of coatings, including paints, enamels, epoxies, and sealants, using various methods such as spray, brush, and roller to achieve desired finishes and protective properties.
Maintain and clean painting equipment, spray guns, brushes, rollers, and other tools, ensuring they are in excellent working condition for optimal results and safety.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ventilation.
Other miscellaneous duties, as assigned
Schedule & Travel:
This division currently has two shifts in our shop in Circleville, Ohio. We have a day shift 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. As well as a night shift from 9:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday. We would discuss your availability.
