What you will do:

The Production Associate (Cylinder Loader) will be responsible for loading and unloading of high-pressure and liquid cylinders on / off trucks in compliance with federal, state, local regulations. The Loader will also be responsible for meeting all safety standards in the loading and unloading of cylinder gases per Airgas procedures.

Your Responsibilities:

* Inspects cylinders prior to filling, following standard procedures as required by government, Airgas, and distributor standards.
* Understands hazards of various gases; size and contents of cylinders by reading and interpreting cylinder labels and the color-coding of tanks.
* Complies with all government and company standards relating to the safe handling of hazardous materials/cylinder gases.
* Safely operates a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse/material-handling equipment.
* Loads cylinders on/off vehicles, using hand truck or chain hoist, and records type and quantity of cylinders.
* Loads/unloads cylinders on/off pallets; ensuring they are strapped in.
* Examines returned cylinders for surface defects, dents, cracks, burns and performs minor maintenance of equipment and inspection of cylinders prior to filling.
* Rolls cylinders to designated work area using appropriate, safe work method or equipment
* Segregates out test cylinders and any defective cylinders.
* Removes old labels, cleans cylinders.

What you will need:

* HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
* One year of experience in manufacturing operations or loading experience preferred.
* Strong background in gas, welding and safety supply industry or chemical industry preferred.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
* Detail-oriented.
* Ability to safely operate a forklift.
* Ability to perform math functions and analysis as needed by the position.
* Lives by Airgas safety programs, OSHA, and all related rules, regulations, procedures which are applicable to this position's responsibilities.

What you will do:

Provides general assistance in the plant, including painting cylinders, valve/de-valve cylinders, and forklift operation.

Your Responsibilities:

* Responsible for personal safety and health.

SA Order to Cash Project Specialist
The Strategic Account OTC Project Specialist is responsible to interpret complex customer needs and make recommendations for process, system, procedure and operational changes to improve order-to-cash workflow. Product Manager
An Airgas Product Manager is responsible for the oversight and profitable growth of Airgas' Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Branded & Radnor Branded family of products within their scope of responsibility. Key areas of focus are working with our Supplier partners and internal Supply Chain Team members to secure cost savings through the reduction of purchasing costs, implementing risk management strategies and fostering collaboration with our Sales Channels, Marketing Teams and Supplier Partners to enable the ongoing profitable growth and competitiveness of the Airgas Hardgoods offering.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Collaborating with Sales & Marketing

  • Work with our Division Hardgoods Leaders; our Region Associates and our Channel Leaders for Airgas.com and Total Access to promote the profitable growth of our OEM & Radnor product offerings through the introduction of new products; product conversions and/or the acquisition of new business.
  • Must be able to leverage Airgas Channels (e.g. Branches; Field Sales; Total Access & Airgas.com) to foster the growth of the OEM & Radnor Brands.
  • Develop close ties with our Marketing Team in Conshohocken with the goal of supporting and growing our OEM & Radnor Brands through our Sales Channels. This includes but is not limited to the development of Radnor collateral; Branch Point of Purchase (POP) displays; Digital Marketing Campaigns; and Radnor landing pages on Airgas.com.
  • Work closely with Market Segment Leaders in our National Account Group to identify Growth Opportunities related to the products and services Airgas offers.
  • Understand fulfillment obligations for our key customers and collaborate with our Sales Teams and Suppliers to make sure we meet these commitments.
  • Maintain an expert level of knowledge for the categories managed with the objective of identifying sales trends and new products that Airgas should be promoting to our customers.

Securing Cost Savings
  • Manage the P&L statement of our OEM & Radnor Brand of products by looking for opportunities to achieve cost savings as well as identify opportunities to grow our share in the OEM and Radnor Branded market.
  • Develop and/or improve key Supplier agreements with the goal of achieving the best cost position for Airgas to serve our Distribution customers.
  • Collaborate with our Suppliers to obtain the best possible product costs for the items sold to customers served by Airgas. Examples of this include but are not limited to volume buy discounts; special pricing for specific customers; enhanced product rebates and beneficial contract terms and conditions.

Implementing Risk Management Strategies
  • Track and assess vendor performance through the use of Airgas' Vendor Scorecard Process and work with the appropriate Airgas stakeholder to improve key areas where Suppliers are deficient.
  • Work with our Sr. Hardgoods Analyst to oversee the National administration of all vendor programs which include but are not limited to pricing updates, rebate programs and Supplier Point of Sale (POS) reporting.
  • Must work closely with our Purchasing and Data Standards organization to effectively manage the inventory of the portfolio of products assigned to the Product Manager. Some of the key responsibilities include but are not limited to: management of inventory levels; oversight of vendor pricing files; changes to reordering points; customer forecasting and communication of supply chain issues.
  • Actively work with Airgas Sales Teams throughout all of our Channels to convert customers buying material from Tier 3 Suppliers to an approved Tier 1 / 2 or Radnor Supplier.
  • Maintain an active relationship with all key OEM's manufacturing products within the scope of the role's responsibility to search for products that should be offered to our customers as a new Tier 1 / 2 Supplier and/or Radnor Brand Supplier.
  • As a contingency plan, identify key Suppliers that may be able to assume Tier 1 / 2 status if one or more of the current Suppliers in the category is unable to fulfill obligations to Airgas and/or our customers.
  • Build out the cross-reference line of our Radnor Product offering to enable our customers and Sales Teams better visibility into the breadth of our Radnor product line and the identification of opportunities for conversion from an OEM product to the Radnor Branded product.
  • Develop and/or improve Supplier agreements with the objective of reducing Airgas's risk.
  • Serve as the first point of contact to effectively manage concerns raised by Airgas Suppliers that may present increased risk to Airgas and our customers Nationally.
Other
  • Work on 'special projects' identified by the VP Hardgoods that will aid in the improvement of Airgas' Radnor offering.
  • Attend Trade Shows and Seminars that promote greater exposure for our Radnor Brand to our customers and internal associates.
  • Willing and able to drive (or have access to transportation), fly, and spend evenings away from home up to 50% travel.
  • Projects and other tasks as needed.

Are you a MATCH?
  • College degree (Business, Supply Chain or related field of study) or equivalent education and experience preferred.
  • Master's degree preferred.
Required Length & Type of Experience:
  • Experience working within the Welding Product and Welding Filler Metal Industry.
  • Preferred 5-7 years of experience working within or with Airgas &/or Air Liquide
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Understanding of Airgas' various Channels (e.g. Field Sales; Branch; Airgas.com; Total Access) to market and experience in leveraging these channels to achieve sales growth.
  • Estimated 50% travel requirement.Willing and able to drive (or have access to transportation), fly, and spend evenings away from home.
  • International Travel may be required, so the qualified candidate will have and maintain a valid passport and be willing to travel internationally.
  • Demonstrate ability to make decisions independently.

Product Manager

An Airgas Product Manager is responsible for the oversight and profitable growth of Airgas' Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Branded & Radnor Branded family of products within their scope of responsibility. Key areas of focus are working with our Supplier partners and internal Supply Chain Team members to secure cost savings through the reduction of purchasing costs, implementing risk management strategies and fostering collaboration with our Sales Channels, Marketing Teams and Supplier Partners to enable the ongoing profitable growth and competitiveness of the Airgas Hardgoods offering.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Collaborating with Sales & Marketing

* Work with our Division Hardgoods Leaders; our Region Associates and our Channel Leaders for Airgas.com and Total Access to promote the profitable growth of our OEM & Radnor product offerings through the introduction of new products; product conversions and/or the acquisition of new business.

* Must be able to leverage Airgas Channels (e.g. Branches; Field Sales; Total Access & Airgas.com) to foster the growth of the OEM & Radnor Brands.

* Develop close ties with our Marketing Team in Conshohocken with the goal of supporting and growing our OEM & Radnor Brands through our Sales Channels. This includes but is not limited to the development of Radnor collateral; Branch Point of Purchase (POP) displays; Digital Marketing Campaigns; and Radnor landing pages on Airgas.com.

* Work closely with Market Segment Leaders in our National Account Group to identify Growth Opportunities related to the products and services Airgas offers.

* Understand fulfillment obligations for our key customers and collaborate with our Sales Teams and Suppliers to make sure we meet these commitments.

* Maintain an expert level of knowledge for the categories managed with the objective of identifying sales trends and new products that Airgas should be promoting to our customers.

Securing Cost Savings

* Manage the P&L statement of our OEM & Radnor Brand of products by looking for opportunities to achieve cost savings as well as identify opportunities to grow our share in the OEM and Radnor Branded market.

* Develop and/or improve key Supplier agreements with the goal of achieving the best cost position for Airgas to serve our Distribution customers.

* Collaborate with our Suppliers to obtain the best possible product costs for the items sold to customers served by Airgas. Examples of this include but are not limited to volume buy discounts; special pricing for specific customers; enhanced product rebates and beneficial contract terms and conditions.

Implementing Risk Management Strategies

* Track and assess vendor performance through the use of Airgas' Vendor Scorecard Process and work with the appropriate Airgas stakeholder to improve key areas where Suppliers are deficient.

* Work with our Sr. Hardgoods Analyst to oversee the National administration of all vendor programs which include but are not limited to pricing updates, rebate programs and Supplier Point of Sale (POS) reporting.

* Must work closely with our Purchasing and Data Standards organization to effectively manage the inventory of the portfolio of products assigned to the Product Manager. Some of the key responsibilities include but are not limited to: management of inventory levels; oversight of vendor pricing files; changes to reordering points; customer forecasting and communication of supply chain issues.

* Actively work with Airgas Sales Teams throughout all of our Channels to convert customers buying material from Tier 3 Suppliers to an approved Tier 1 / 2 or Radnor Supplier.

* Maintain an active relationship with all key OEM's manufacturing products within the scope of the role's responsibility to search for products that should be offered to our customers as a new Tier 1 / 2 Supplier and/or Radnor Brand Supplier.

* As a contingency plan, identify key Suppliers that may be able to assume Tier 1 / 2 status if one or more of the current Suppliers in the category is unable to fulfill obligations to Airgas and/or our customers.

* Build out the cross-reference line of our Radnor Product offering to enable our customers and Sales Teams better visibility into the breadth of our Radnor product line and the identification of opportunities for conversion from an OEM product to the Radnor Branded product.

* Develop and/or improve Supplier agreements with the objective of reducing Airgas's risk.

* Serve as the first point of contact to effectively manage concerns raised by Airgas Suppliers that may present increased risk to Airgas and our customers Nationally.

Other

* Work on 'special projects' identified by the VP Hardgoods that will aid in the improvement of Airgas' Radnor offering.

* Attend Trade Shows and Seminars that promote greater exposure for our Radnor Brand to our customers and internal associates.

* Willing and able to drive (or have access to transportation), fly, and spend evenings away from home up to 50% travel.

* Projects and other tasks as needed.

Are you a MATCH?

* College degree (Business, Supply Chain or related field of study) or equivalent education and experience preferred.

* Master's degree preferred.

Required Length & Type of Experience:

* Experience working within the Welding Product and Welding Filler Metal Industry.

* Preferred 5-7 years of experience working within or with Airgas &/or Air Liquide

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

* Understanding of Airgas' various Channels (e.g. Field Sales; Branch; Airgas.com; Total Access) to market and experience in leveraging these channels to achieve sales growth.

* Estimated 50% travel requirement.Willing and able to drive (or have access to transportation), fly, and spend evenings away from home.

* International Travel may be required, so the qualified candidate will have and maintain a valid passport and be willing to travel internationally.

* Demonstrate ability to make decisions independently.

* Past record of strong communication skills.

* Ability to research and collect data that supports Airgas' goals and strategies for overall sales effectiveness.

* Experience with developing and building strategic initiatives.

* Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team atmosphere.

* Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint

* General knowledge of SAP preferred but not required.

* Past record of identifying a goal, developing a plan to execute against the goal, and implementing the plan.
