Job Description Summary:
The primary function of this job is to diagnose and repair highway delivery equipment including hydraulic pumping and product transfer pump, develop and implement solutions to specific problems within the supply chain and logistics environment and troubleshoot/repair diesel tractors, cryogenic trailers, tube trailers and associated equipment in accordance with Airgas policies/procedures and DOT regulations. You will perform preventive maintenance, equipment upgrades, read/interpret equipment condition reports, repair orders, communicate with supervisor/operator for clarification of problems and discuss preventive techniques with operators to minimize future repairs. You will also promote safety of all employees as first priority, processes/products towards zero defects
Required Qualifications
* 2+ years experience in highway equipment maintenance
* Experience with a variety of basic hand, power tools and equipment.
* Must have own hand tools
* Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and written; ability to read/understand English
Preferred Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED equivalent; technical school classes preferred
* Basic knowledge of transportation regulations
* Class A CDL with HazMat; DOT brake certification preferred (Not Required)
* Computer literacy; Google Chrome, TMT, on-board OEM computer diagnosis systems
* Someone with solid diagnostic experience in ABS and DEF systems, including maintenance software programs, is driven by results and could excel in the office and on the shop floor. ABS, DEF and experience utilizing maintenance programs is in addition to all other requirements

ISS is seeking a Mechanic to join our team of snubbing and hydraulic workover shop employees based in Arnaudville, Louisiana.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Service of snubbing units when they are in the yard and prepare each for deployment.
* Perform maintenance on all equipment according to Maintenance Sheets.
* Assemble new construction of snubbing units and components.
* Perform maintenance on diesel engines, snubbing units, mud pumps, power tongs, slips, and miscellaneous support equipment.
* Maintain documentation of maintenance procedures and test procedures.
* Load out jobs and offload equipment once returned to the ISS yard.
* Rig up snubbing units for testing after servicing and testing are complete.
* Update equipment maintenance records.
* Carry out various maintenance requests.
* Assist field supervisors in troubleshooting equipment problems and deploy technicians, if necessary.
* Perform visual and mechanical inspections on the fleet of trucks, trailers, forklifts, overhead cranes, and any other equipment obtained for transporting equipment.

Position Summary:
NWH have an immediate opening for a Mobile Equipment Mechanic at our Eugene, OR facility. This position reports to the maintenance supervisor and is responsible for safely and efficiently responding to all maintenance issues and upset conditions regarding mobile equipment and to strive for increased overall equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Proficiently manage scheduled equipment services and preventative maintenance inspections
Ensure all equipment is up to required safety standards
Work closely with operators to resolve maintenance and/or safety issues with equipment
Populate service records with up to date information to track machinery information and schedule services
Perform equipment repairs in a safe and timely manner
Communicate clearly with operations employees when equipment is needed for service
Communicate equipment issues to Maintenance Lead, and Operators
Interface with Purchaser to acquire needed parts and place lube orders
Investigate the root cause of equipment failure and make long term fix.
