Position Summary
The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supervising all maintenance activities at the plant level, ensuring effective execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance in alignment with corporate maintenance standards and production requirements.
This role serves as the primary liaison between operations, maintenance execution teams, and engineering support, ensuring maintenance activities are properly prioritized, scheduled, and executed to minimize production interruptions while maintaining equipment reliability, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Coordination & Execution
Coordinate daily, weekly, and planned shutdown maintenance activities to support production schedules.
Ensure full compliance with preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and timely completion of corrective maintenance actions.
Manage execution and follow-up of work orders for corrective, preventive, and improvement-related maintenance activities.
Predictive & Reliability Support
Support predictive maintenance programs including vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography, and vacuum leak detection.
Assist in identifying equipment reliability risks and opportunities for improvement.
Support Single Point of Failure (SPOF) mitigation plans and ensure readiness of critical backup equipment.
Planning, Scheduling & Resources
Coordinate maintenance labor, tools, contractors, and spare parts to ensure maintenance readiness.
Ensure materials and resources are available prior to scheduled work to avoid delays or production impacts.
Work closely with operations and engineering to prioritize maintenance activities based on equipment criticality.
Continuous Improvement & Root Cause Analysis
Participate in root cause investigations for equipment failures and downtime events.
Support implementation and tracking of corrective and preventive actions.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability and maintenance effectiveness.
Documentation & Performance Tracking
Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records, documentation, and equipment history.
Support KPI tracking related to maintenance performance, compliance, downtime, and reliability metrics.
Ensure data accuracy within maintenance management systems.
Qualifications
Required

Summary Objective
We are seeking a dedicated and self-motivated professional CNC Automation MaintenanceTechnician - With expertise in operating, troubleshooting, and repairing Voortman and Pema metalworking machinery. The ideal candidate is skilled in conducting routine maintenance and repairs as well as troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to ensure optimal equipment performance and long-term reliability. Essential Functions
Responsible for delivering performance and operational uptime of our automated systems including but not limited to automated metal fabrication equipment, automated painting equipment and other technologies as assigned.
Support the development of maintenance plans for key automated manufacturing/fabrication equipment
Provide triage support during outages of our automated systems
Participates in workshops, Kaizen events and other related activities as needed
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated manufacturing/fabrication equipment
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues to minimize downtime.
Configure, calibrate, and optimize robotic welding cells and automation components.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement process improvements and equipment upgrades.
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repair histories (Upkeep software).
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all maintenance and repair activities.
Provide technical support and training to operators and junior technicians as needed.

Work Environment
Most work is performed in a production fabrication shop environment with exposure to loud machinery, welding equipment, grinders, and cutting tools. Presence of metal dust, fumes, and sharp materials; proper ventilation and PPE (personal protective equipment) are mandatory. Standing, bending, lifting, and moving heavy materials for extended periods. Temperature fluctuations depend on season and equipment usage; some areas may be hot due to operational needs.

Job Description:
Under general supervision, the Seal Repair Technician is responsible for all processes related to disassembly and assembly of rotating equipment. The Seal Repair Technician follows instruction from a Repair job packet and router to perform DCI (Dismantle Clean and Inspect) and gives a written description of the wear and condition of critical components seal.
This position completes all inspection forms taking pictures of all critical components and uses inspection equipment for proper documentation of the assembly. With assistance identifies, inspects and evaluates material returned, determines repair operations, performs simple shop operations, verify specifications, initiate work and purchase orders.
Receives John Crane parts and materials returned by customers and branch offices. Evaluates from a condition of material, checks current drawing revisions and general product knowledge whether material is repairable or non-repairable.
· Identifies and inspects material returned.
· Ensures all components are properly cleaned and free from foreign material per departmental procedures
· Performs the assembly of the seal once the repair has been released to the shop and all components have been replaced or reconditioned and marked ready for assembly.
· Under close supervision, repairs returned seals and seal parts.
· May perform parts structuring, check cost structure, and determine price of repair, ensures assembly is structured correctly, and price repair.
· Determines necessary repair operations, ensures BOM (bill of materials) / drawings / repair parts match.
· Performs simple operations on drill press (single spindle), tool post grinder, bead blast polisher and lapping machine.
· Verifies part specifications with measuring instruments such as micrometer, vernier caliper, dial indicator and optical flats.
· May initiates purchase orders for new jobs if vendors are involved.
· Consults with Engineering or Sales departments as necessary.
· Maintains necessary records and small inventory of seal parts used for repair orders.
· Works from factory work orders, prints, rework orders and verbal instructions.
· Assists newer repair personnel as necessary.
· Sets up and troubleshoots lapping machines for repair maintenance.
· May perform direct contact with customers on service and/or phone, checks computer system for credit and address information, price repairs.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of experience in mechanical assembly positions.
Experience working with mechanical seals is a plus.
Ability to read blueprints a plus.
Attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds manually.
Experience with Microsoft Office.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Diagnose and repair issues with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance systems
Perform scheduled maintenance on RVs including oil changes, battery checks, tire/brake checks, and sealant inspections
Install RV accessories including hitches, slide toppers, awnings, backup cameras, satellite systems, furniture, and more
Track all parts and materials used and ensure proper documentation of diagnostics, cause, and repairs in work orders
