An Engineer II is responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
What will I be doing?

As an Engineer II, you would be maintaining the guest rooms, public space and back of the house areas in good repair by performing a wide variety of electromechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production related machinery and equipment. This is an experience level in which assignments involve a wide variety of repair and maintenance techniques. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

* Preventive maintenance of hotel equipment and guest rooms. Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including, but not limited to, guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas.
* Assembles and installs electromechanical equipment such as production machinery and tools, conveyor systems, facility equipment, etc.
* Dismantles, adjust, repairs, and assembles machine tools according to layout plans, blueprints, drawings, or general instructions.
* Troubleshoots and repairs equipment and systems requiring the isolation of the malfunction, disassembly and repair or replacement of bearings, bushings, gears, valves, switches, relays, ballasts, etc.
* Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment
* Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work and masonry
* Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs.
* Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention
* Train and assist new hires and give direction to other maintenance personnel (Engineer III) with skilled engineering trades.

As part of a design team, the primary responsibilities of the Engineer, Airports are small and large airport infrastructure planning and design, pavement evaluations and designs, site and facilities design, utility system design, and related services. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS(may include but are not limited to):

+ Assists in the various design elements to complete a project, system, component, or system with other team members with clear and specified objectives involving conventional types of plans, surveys, investigations, structures, and/or equipment.

+ Assists in the preparation of complete project documentation to include plans, specifications, and engineer estimates including the collection, assembling, and organizing of project data.

+ Evaluates, selects, and adapts standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to project assignments; formulates and solves problems with guidance and direction.

+ Plans and coordinates detailed aspects of engineering work; works on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects using time efficiently to stay within budget and deliver on time.
