Pay: $27.38 (plus shift differential for 2nd & 3rd)
Essential Job Functions
Maintains safety of airport runway; taking measurements, assessing and transmitting airport condition reports. Reviews reports and makes regular physical inspections of airport and identifies hazards. Performs aircraft rescue and firefighting duties; operates fire truck and firefighting equipment. Responds to hazardous material situations; uses aircraft extraction tools to rescue victims. Maintains security of airport; inspects grounds and building. Responds to reports of fire, break-in or unusual incidents; assesses situation and ensures that appropriate personnel are notified. Provides maintenance and cleaning services to maintain airport buildings and grounds mows grass and removes snow and ice. Must be able to work First, Second, and Third Shift.
Minimum Requirements
Vocational and technical training in maintenance trades with two (2) years of safety and security experience, airport operations, or any equivalent combination of education or experience. Applicants without vocational and technical training require an additional six (6) months of related experience. An Ohio Commercial Driver's "License Class B" with a current medical certificate is required along with the ability to operate various pieces of equipment. Basic math skills are required along with the ability to comprehend and communicate. Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and respond to emergency situations. Training on AAAE Basic Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting will be provided. Those candidates who do not have an Ohio Commercial Driver's License Class B will have 6 months from their date of hire (probationary period) to obtain one.

This is a competitive, classified position. The Personnel Review Commission (PRC) will check your application to make sure you meet the minimum qualifications. If you do, the PRC will invite you to take a civil service examination. The exam is specific to this position. Everyone who passes the exam goes on an eligibility list. To fill this opening, the PRC sends the hiring department and Human Resources (HR) a certified eligibility list with the top 25% candidates (or at least the ten highest scoring candidates, whichever is greater). HR helps the hiring department decide who from the certified list to follow up with for interviews and then a job offer.

What You'll Do: As a Airport Lounge F&B Supervisor at Sodexo, you are a master multitasker and a quality-of-life improver.
You will provides oversight at the direction of management on-site to coordinate routine work activities of service employees engaged in food operations, including but not limited to fast casual, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events/banquets, casual dining and cafes.
