The Wood Komo Router Operator is responsible for selecting proper material, running proper programs and operating CNC router to produce parts as requested by material control. Participate in activities associated with the layout, design, specification, documentation, testing, & implementation of vehicle electrical systems including the development of schematics, layouts, construction drawings, and installation aids using Autodesk Inventor software. Review, understand, and work with other vehicle mechanical systems and Design Teams to ensure that Electrical Systems integrate and perform according to design intent with a high level of design quality, performance, and ease of manufacture. Assist with the implementation of electrical systems into Production including the training of Production line Associates as needed. Research warranty, customer service, and operations feedback related to electrical systems to identify opportunities for improvement in current or future designs. Work closely with codes and compliance team to validate testing requirements for new product implementations Review product designs and highlight those areas that are critical to quality relating to life safety, electrical, and mechanical Education and/or Experience : Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or combination of education and applicable experience. Skills/Qualifications: Proven experience in electrical system design, implementation, troubleshooting & repair, or another related electrical field Strong computer skills including proven experience in use of 3D Computer Modeling and electrical related software (Autodesk Inventor preferred) and in the creation of related documentation Proven experience in the proper use of common lab & measurement equipment used for the evaluation of electrical systems and circuitry Ability to find solutions to problems using creativity, reasoning, and past experiences along with the available information and resources. Must have the ability to assess a situation, seek multiple perspectives, and gather data to implement sustainable solutions. Replace gaskets, seals, or other components (materials provided). Conduct final leak checks using approved methods (e.g., soap and water testing). Accurately document inspection results, defects, part numbers, and findings. Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards and safety procedures. Use measurement tools and test equipment (training provided if needed). Job Qualifications Experience with borescopes, leak testing, smoke machines, or NDT related inspection tools. Mechanical or automotive experience (assembly, repair, diagnostics, teardown, etc.). Strong understanding of safety practices and quality processes. Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings, and defect criteria. Strong communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
