Summary : Aid in the development of energy management, system monitoring, entertainment, data handling, user interface, and other supporting electrical systems for use in Recreational and Commercial Vehicles from concept to implementation.

Participate in activities associated with the layout, design, specification, documentation, testing, & implementation of vehicle electrical systems including the development of schematics, layouts, construction drawings, and installation aids using Autodesk Inventor software.
Review, understand, and work with other vehicle mechanical systems and Design Teams to ensure that Electrical Systems integrate and perform according to design intent with a high level of design quality, performance, and ease of manufacture.
Assist with the implementation of electrical systems into Production including the training of Production line Associates as needed.
Research warranty, customer service, and operations feedback related to electrical systems to identify opportunities for improvement in current or future designs.
Work closely with codes and compliance team to validate testing requirements for new product implementations
Review product designs and highlight those areas that are critical to quality relating to life safety, electrical, and mechanical
Education and/or Experience : Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or combination of education and applicable experience.
Skills/Qualifications:
Proven experience in electrical system design, implementation, troubleshooting & repair, or another related electrical field
Strong computer skills including proven experience in use of 3D Computer Modeling and electrical related software (Autodesk Inventor preferred) and in the creation of related documentation
Proven experience in the proper use of common lab & measurement equipment used for the evaluation of electrical systems and circuitry
