Job Summary:
Lab Assistant is responsible for accessing patient sample information into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), accurately according to received requisitions. Able to assist in troubleshooting issues with patient samples and effectively communicate internally and externally.
Essential Responsibilities/Duties:
* Review all information to be accurate and meet the company's and regulatory standards
* Accepts deliveries from couriers
* Accession patient sample information and physician test orders according to requisitions, accurately
* Provide oversight of orders on requisitions on pre-accessioned samples
* Identify missing information and execute proper route when missing information is identified
* Scan patient requisitions for medical records
* Maintain a reportable error rate below .05% with a goal of zero errors per month
* Verify required information, per HIPPA/CAP/CLIA, is obtained on all orders
* Responsible for adherence to annual safety, compliance and HIPPA training

The Clinical Laboratory Scientist I handles all infectious disease testing with a goal of providing 100% accuracy when processing samples. The CLS I performs all essential functions such as laboratory safety, Good Documentation Practice (GDP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), specimen processing and troubleshooting maintaining productivity and quality assigned metrics, and providing effective communication with laboratory management and team.
Essential Responsibilities/Duties:
* Performing sample prep, DNA extraction and PCR.
* Running KingFisher Flex, Accufill, VeritiPro, QuantStudio 12K and 5.
* Performing accurate manual and electronic pipetting of small sample volumes.
* Adhere to laboratory's quality control policies, quality control activities and SOP's.
* Review all SOP's and workflow updates in a timely manner and ensure all SOP updates are implemented in real time for workflow processes.
* Perform preventive maintenance checks and decontamination of equipment and workspaces.
* Follow the laboratory's established polices and procedures for notifying appropriate supervisors when test systems are not within the laboratory's established acceptable levels of performance.
* Facilitate and ensure appropriate individual work output is completed based on current company metrics.
* Identify problems that may adversely affect testing performance or reporting of test results by immediately notifying the General Supervisor and/or Technical Supervisor.
* Participate in processing proficiency testing samples, as applicable.

* Responsible for staying informed of all incident reports and compliance related issues by attending all team meetings.
* Ability to perform basic accession in pre-analytical operations: requirements for Patient Identifiers (PID), auditing and communicating client manifest issues, identifying specimens categorized as non-compliant, acceptance/rejection of patient specimens, and creating cases for exceptions and sent out orders.
Qualifications:
Education -
Clinical testing personnel must possess a current license issued by the state in which the laboratory is located, if such licensing is required; and meet the following educational requirements:
* 60 semester hours or equivalent from an accredited institution that, at a minimum, includes either 24 semester hours of medical laboratory technology courses, OR 24 semester hours of science courses that include six semester hours of chemistry, six semester hours of biology, and 12 semester hours of chemistry, biology, or medical laboratory technology in any combination.
* Completion of a clinical laboratory training program approved or accredited by the ABHES, NAACLS, or other organization approved by HHS (note that this training may be include in the 60 semester hours above).

About the Role

You will be instrumental in building a proactive and threat intelligence-driven approach to protecting Cloudflare and its customers from nation-state, cybercriminal, and hacktivist threat activity originating from the East Asia. This position requires an innovative, OPSEC-savvy, self-starting, and detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for identifying, tracking, and assessing sophisticated cyber threats.
As a Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will monitor cyber threat activity, trends, and methodologies across multiple platforms, supporting both client requests and proactive internal research. You will serve an integral role in the discovery and analysis of East Asian cyber threat adversaries, their Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), along with applying knowledge of transnational issues and geopolitical developments to understand adversary actions and anticipate their next moves. You will obtain key threat intelligence information, synthesizing both technical and non-technical datasets to derive unique insights and author timely reporting related to adversary activity. Reporting will range from brief descriptions of threat actors and their activity to finished intelligence products for clients and the general public. This will include proposing subject matter for proactive reporting on threat actor TTPs and trends, as well as leading the corresponding reporting efforts. Additionally, Senior Threat Intelligence Analysts will support priority intelligence requirements, ensuring Cloudforce One focuses resources and efforts on our clients' most relevant and crucial intelligence needs. In this role you will also collaborate with engineering teams to ensure relevant data and analytics are incorporated in internal platforms to improve and/or automate intelligence analysis workflows.
Strong candidates will have excellent OSINT research skills, firsthand experience in Threat Intelligence (in particular, familiarity with advanced persistent threats), a strong technical foundation, practical knowledge of intelligence report writing, and ability to work well in a group of distributed remote team members.

Element has an opportunity for a Laboratory Assistant to join our rapidly expanding team in Fort Wayne IN. As a member of the administrative department at our Environmental Testing Laboratory in Fort Wayne, IN, the Laboratory Assistant position performs a variety of routine and non-routine assignments within the department to ensure timely and accurate testing is performed. The Laboratory Assistant position must be proficient in several core business skills including but not limited to compliance with established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Receive samples at the laboratory
Inspect Chains of Custody and associated documentation for accuracy and completion
Log samples into the Laboratory Information Management System
Prepare sample bottles and testing kits for pickup, delivery, or shipment
Package samples for subcontracting and shipment
Operate under the supervision of a senior Department Supervisor
Skills / Qualifications
Working knowledge of laboratory safety
HS diploma or GED certificate preferred. College or vocational school coursework welcomed
0-2 years' experience in a testing related field
Basic understanding of testing concepts
Possess computer skills.
Able to develop a proven ability to set up and perform a variety of tests according to customer specifications under the supervision and technical input of Senior/Principal
Physical Demands:
Frequency of required physical force: Minimum (moderate).
Lifting requirements: lifting 50 lbs. on occasion
Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time
Ability to lift 50+lbs periodically
