Dell Medical School in conjunction with Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas (DCMCCT), is seeking Physician Assistants with cardiac critical care credentials to be part of the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, working collaborativelywith a multidisciplinary team to serve the growing need of the regional pediatric population, delivering world class pediatric cardiac critical care.
Responsibilities
Counsels and educates cardiac critical care patients and their families/ caregivers concerning health conditions, treatment options and community resources.
Documents delivery of cardiac critical health care and nursing processes in accordance with care standards and network nursing policy.
Participates in orientation and education of staff and students.
Obtains cardiac critical care patient history and performs assessment via observation, interview and examination.
Orders, performs, and interprets diagnostic studies for cardiac critical care patients. Performs health assessments, screening, and patient care.
Provides direct treatment and management of cardiac critical care conditions via prescriptive authority or referral to other healthcare providers or community resources. Engages in discharge planning.
Other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Physician's Assistant or Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing. Licensed Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Authority specializing in Cardiac Critical Care. Credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing in Acute Care nursing. Experience in caring for children with complex congenital and acquired heart disease in a Pediatric and Congenital Critical Care Unit. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work efficiently and flexibly in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance. Ability to address individuals and information with a high degree of sensitivity and confidentiality in various situations. Capacity to work well with physicians and other care providers as part of a multi-disciplinary healthcare delivery team.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

Perform regular job queue checks and maintenance activities.

Document and communicate root cause analyses and resolution steps.

Participate in post-incident reviews to address monitoring and support gaps.

Build and share bi-weekly reports on MD3 infrastructure status and performance.

Establish SLAs based on current ITSM practices for incident and problem resolution.
Ensure all incidents and problems are addressed within defined SLAs.
Performance Optimization: Fine-tune applications and infrastructure to meet performance benchmarks.
Capacity Planning: Anticipate growth needs to scale infrastructure and optimize resource utilization.
Create and maintain runbooks for critical alerts.

About the Job
The power washer will be responsible for operating high-pressure washing and sandblasting equipment to maintain critical plant components such as pre-heater chambers, bag houses, and transfer chutes. This person will need to follow safety protocols and perform inspections.
+ Safely perform work and/or inspections. Lead by example through demonstrating safe work practices while completing daily tasks.
+ Performs and documents workplace, stationary, and mobile equipment inspections as needed.
+ Power wash crew will set up equipment, wash appropriate pre-heater chambers, tops of preheaters and transfer chutes as necessary, stow and secure equipment after use.
+ Identify and replace damaged bags, remove damaged bags to the proper storage area, and general cleanup of the bag house area.
+ Operate sandblaster safely and efficiently.
+ Employees are expected to perform other responsibilities as needed.
Required Qualifications

As part of an R&D project team, the Senior Systems and V/V engineer provides technical contributions to the system design and Verification/Validation of a complex medical device from concept through commercialization and/or through the full life cycle of the product. The senior engineer works in close collaboration with the Lead engineer, project manager, and other functional team members to ensure the project/product success. The senior engineer provides guidance to other engineers in design reviews and helps resolve issues.
