Summary: Greets and registers critical and trauma patients. Answers telephone calls, schedules appointments, and facilitates unit communication. Coordinates admissions paperwork and communications, contacts on-call providers, and pulls and files medical charts when indicated. Establishes and maintains open communication with all departments and interacts with and clinical staff in those areas. Order supplies and assures sufficient stock for unit needs. Answers internal and external phone calls. Assuring accurate response and follow up with each call.
