This Full Time year-round position executes the daily operation, ongoing maintenance, installation, and annual projects assigned for the Utilities Plumbing Department. Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal in amusement, campground, and water park. Maintains boilers, bathrooms, sinks, drains, lift stations, grease traps, and other related equipment as required to support a large amusement facility. Maintains Fire Systems and performs minor repairs.
Hourly Rate (based on experience) $28.00 - $30 an hour - Full-time
Responsibilities:
Installs, repairs, and maintains plumbing, system and hangers for pipes, fixtures and equipment.
Performs preventative maintenance (planned internal inspections) on water rides as well as preventative maintenance on plumbing equipment and machinery, based on manufacturer and park standards.
Evaluates and observes pressure gauges for leaks to repair if needed.
Maintain entire facility including assets, plumbing requirements, portable water distribution systems, IW distribution system and LP and Natural gas service to appliances.
Assembles pipe sections, tubing and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
Measures, cuts, threads, and bends pipe to required angle.
Locates and repair issues with water supply lines; unclogs drains safely and without causing damage to company property.
Complete all related documentation in a timely and appropriate manner (i.e., records, reports, logs).
Ensures that all installations, repairs, and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported, and at specified grade by AWWA standard and meets all standards of health, building and safety guidelines, and codes.
Assists in ordering parts and maintaining inventory of parts and equipment to anticipate needs, while keeping them within budget guidelines.
Interact with and communicate with various groups and individuals, such as the immediate supervisor, other Park managers and staff, co-workers, guests, vendors, contractors, inspectors, etc.
Provides guest service according to Six Flags standards when serving the guest, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions, and giving directions.
Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Six Flags safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervisor.
Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
Adheres to Six Flag's code of conduct including costuming and grooming standards as outlined in employees' Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
Performs other duties appropriate to the area and responsibility as deemed necessary by the facilities Manager and/or Supervisor.

The successful candidate will be an experienced visual narrative artist and educator with a passion for storytelling, character design, and world-building across multiple genres, pipelines, and platforms. They will be able to teach Introduction to 2D Animation and Professional Practices for Animators, as well as courses in storyboarding, character design, and other areas of visual development. Additional expertise in illustration, comic arts, or transmedia storytelling is highly encouraged.
The candidate will demonstrate an innovative approach to narrative, with the ability to apply skills and concepts in interdisciplinary contexts. They will stay current with trends and practices in the areas of animation and visual narrative, and work to develop foundational and advanced courses in visual narrative arts. They will also mentor students in preparing for careers in the animation and narrative industries, including developing strong portfolios, reels, and other professional materials aligned with industry standards. Experience working in collaborative studio environments is highly desirable.
The person in this position will teach three undergraduate courses per semester and participate in service to the department for the academic year. Other teaching responsibilities include serving on BFA and MFA thesis committees, student advising, and helping to oversee animation facilities and equipment. Responsible for all aspects of the storage and distribution of controlled substance medications, ensures proper placement, labeling and use of medication stored by facility and medication room refrigerator.
Responsible for responding immediately to resident's requests.
Performs timely and accurate documentation according to the service excellence standards and goals established for this position. (E.g.: e-interact, change in condition, transfer, STOP and WATCH).
Reports to Director of Nursing and/or licensed professional any unusual symptoms, changes of condition, daily needs, and progress of residents.
Contacts MD/NP/PA for orders or updates for change in condition and updates resident's representative/emergency contact.
Transfers residents out when indicated for evaluation.
Participates in Change-of-Shift Report and is responsible for bringing nursing personnel of next shift up to date about the care and needs of residents.

Qualifications
Medication Technician Educational Requirements and Qualifications:
Minimum 18 years of age
Proof of successful completion of a medication technician training program within the last 12 months preferred
Must pass Elderwood Medication Technician test
Certification by an approved basic training program in home health aide services and possess written evidence of such certification is preferred
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Long term care experience preferred
