Monitor and maintain accurate records of repairs through "Facility Dude" software including preventive maintenance programs for all equipment. Ensure productivity, and quality of work standards are maintained. Responsible for the reliability of maintenance equipment. Maintain a professional relationship with all coworkers. Our sweeper trucks are mostly Isuzu cab-overs, though we have a few GMC trucks as well. Our pickup trucks are mostly Chevrolet. No experience with sweepers is necessary (training for maintenance of sweepers will be provided). The base schedule is 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday. This is a driving position. Applicants must have an active driver license and a clean driving record to be considered for this position. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with a positive attitude and general mechanical experience. Experience with diesel mechanics and hydraulic systems preferred. Safety is our priority! Utilizing our Safety Coordinator and holding monthly safety meetings, we make sure our employees are protected from all kinds of hazards and have the proper PPE for the job. Basic knowledge of relay logic, AC/DC motor drives, PLC & SLC and motor control circuits. Intermediate knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, plumbing, and code books. Repair knowledge of pumps, compressors, gear boxes and blowers. Maintenance Mechanic Physical Demands and Work Environment The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts. Frequently required lifting and/or moving up to 30 pounds. Frequently required standing, bending, squatting, and reaching with hands and arms.
