Experience with Embedded Operating Systems like Buildroot, Yocto Project, Android, and embedded Linux distributions
5+ years of experience leading engineering teams, including experience managing managers or multiple teams

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
* Support shipboard electrical power, navigation systems, communication systems and machinery controls systems and equipment.
* Provide design support for integration of equipment in an industrial/shipboard environment.
* Develop programming and equipment standards for shipboard electrical power generation, control and distribution system, navigation systems, and communication systems.
* Prepare technical documentation such as reports, procedures and test plans in support of all aspects of shipboard electrical power generation, control and distribution systems, navigation systems, and communication systems.
* Assist in troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing shipboard electrical power generation, control and distribution systems, navigation systems, and communication systems.
* Participate in requirements development and design reviews to document system issues and revise design specifications and other detailed documentation for new systems and modernization efforts.

Qualifications:
Candidates for this position must possess the following professional experience and qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
* 3+ years of experience working with shipboard electrical power generation systems
* Proficient knowledge of the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures associated with US Navy and commercial shipboard electrical power generation, control and distribution systems, navigation systems, and communication systems.
* Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues related to shipboard electrical power generation, control and distribution systems, navigation systems, and communication systems.
* Ability to execute PLC driven systems for machinery controls
* Ability to travel
* Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance (US Citizenship Required)
