In 1997, Southcentral Foundation completed the assumption of ownership and management of primary care and other programs located in the Anchorage Native Primary Care Center.
1999 – ANMC management transferred from Indian Health Service to Tribal management by ANTHC and Southcentral Foundation
2006 – The Alaska Native Health Campus becomes a smoke-free workplace
In November 2013, the ANMC celebrated its 60th anniversary.
In 2016, the first Alaska educated DHAT was hired by the Swinomish Tribe in Washington to assist their dental team in meeting the overwhelming oral health care needs of their tribal members.
