POSITION SUMMARY To provide high quality ultrasound procedures to our patients and physicians in a respectful and efficient manner while providing those services in a safe and clean environment. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Formal Education / Training: Graduate of an approved ultrasound school and subsequent Accreditation through ARDMS. May be registered in OB/GYN, ABDOMEN, and BREAST, VASCULAR. BLS is required within 90 days of hire. Workplace Experience: Preference of at least two years of work experience in hospital after graduation and accreditation; however, willing to train. Equipment and Skills Training: Will train on specific equipment and processes utilized at Williamson Medical Center. Accurately document all patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with privacy and safety regulations. Educate patients and their families on managing mental health and behavioral challenges. Refer patients to appropriate community or hospital resources to ensure holistic care. Participate in interdisciplinary care team meetings to discuss patient progress and refine care strategies. Stay current on best practices, ethical standards, and developments in the field of behavioral health therapy. Education, Certificates, and License: Education: Master's degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution required. Certificates / License: Current licensure or board certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Mental Health Counselor (MHC). Additional certifications in behavioral health or specific therapeutic modalities preferred. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health counseling or therapy required. Experience in a healthcare or medical setting is highly preferred. Physical Requirements: Mobility: Frequent walking, standing, and occasional movement. Posture: Extended periods of sitting for counseling sessions, occasional bending, or reaching. Dexterity: Fine motor skills for notetaking, typing, and using medical or office equipment. Lifting: Minimal lifting of lightweight materials or files as needed.
