Position Overview:
The Payroll Administrator assists in weekly payroll reporting and maintenance, and is responsible for the weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual updates pertaining to payroll records.
Updates workers compensation rates in ERP system on an annual basis and as needed.
Research Outstanding/Cleared Checks for different amounts from the bank reconciliation.
Remits monthly union fringe reports for all unions assigned.
Transmit unemployment documents to third party administrator daily as needed.

Complete VOE's as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Scheduling Engineer develops, maintains, and analyzes project schedules within a market segment and reports variances.
Essential Responsibilities & Duties include the following; however, other duties may be assigned. The Role We Want You For
We are seeking an Illinois or Missouri bar admitted Senior Associate with, ideally, 6 years or more of construction contracts and/or construction litigation experience, including breach of contract, bonding, risk mitigation and lien law issues. Any experience drafting and negotiating design and construction agreements for complex development projects for owners and contractors is a plus. This is a great in-house opportunity to work closely with the General Counsel and assist with sophisticated real estate and construction projects across the country.
Experience with real estate construction prime contracts; subcontracts, AIA, Consensus, DBIA Forms, subcontracts, sufficient to assist with project related challenges or disputes through project close-out, including assisting with disputed change orders and delay claims as needed. Familiarity with AIA contract forms, design-build and other construction industry standard contract terms required. General commercial business transactions experience a plus, including leases, purchase orders, lien waivers and releases.
Professional collaborative aptitude and ability to assist with all matters related to legal team support for design/construction firm operations. The ideal candidate for this position is a team player with a business-oriented mindset, willing to learn Company processes and protocols, work with executive teams, with a strong work ethic, exceptional problem-solving skills and comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace.
The Specifics of the Role
Reviewing, analyzing and assisting with resolution of challenges and/or disputes on active construction and design projects working with General Counsel or Chief Operating Officer and project executives to achieve timely and efficient resolutions.
Assisting with Project change orders, contract modifications, construction change order or delay claim disputes, as needed.
Assist General Counsel and project teams with responses to contract related claims (claims for delay, substantial completion claims; and related disputes, including management of documentation related to mediation, arbitration and / or litigation.
Familiarity with construction, material supplier subcontracts, AIA standard form contracts, purchase orders, and related terms and conditions.
Reviewing, negotiating and advising business teams on commercial contracts, including: Subcontract and material supplier contracts terms and conditions, vendor and service contracts terms and conditions, credit application terms and conditions, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, professional service agreements, maintenance contracts and leases.
As needed, negotiating construction or design-build contracts in accordance with Company specified risk parameters; assisting with client negotiations as needed to finalize and implement contracts, including providing contract guidance to project teams.
As needed, review of requests for proposal (RFP's) and bidding requirements and assistance with the preparation and submission of RFP responses, including mark-up of proposed RFP contract forms and related bidding documents.
Oversee review and / or preparation of lien wavers and related affidavits.
Oversee responses to third party subpoena's and litigation discovery requests, including research, review and preparation of responsive documents.
Reviewing, research, and responding to claims of lien against project sites / real estate by third party subcontractors or material suppliers.
Maintain and update legal and other databases with current information on status of pending matters; review and preparation of litigation status reports.
Requirements
Law degree is required
6+ years experience with construction industry contracts and disputes
Understanding of material supplier subcontracts, AIA form contracts, and purchase orders.

Assist in development of the project safety program.
Establish and conduct jobsite orientation for new project employees. Administer and record their participation in the orientation program and issue identification to those employees completing the orientation program.
Attend all initial meetings with the project staff and subcontractor representatives to clearly define their role within the confines of the project safety program.
Conduct and document pre-planning safety meetings with each subcontractor representatives to establish safety procedures prior to subcontractor's activity on site.

Establish and conduct regular (weekly) safety meetings with subcontractor representatives and with project staff to ensure proper compliance.

Ensure and maintain a log of each subcontractor toolbox safety meeting.
Review each subcontractor's safety program and ensure that it meets or exceeds the project safety program requirements.
Ensure that each subcontractor designates a safety representative that is properly trained in subcontractor's scope of work and has the proper authority to correct safety issues.
Conduct regular daily and weekly jobsite inspections and complete the safety checklist noting safety violations and corrective actions.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Detailing Coordinator I supports the Engineering and Detailing Department in the preparation of detailed drawings and documentation for structural steel projects as a part of Hillsdale Fabricators, a premier structural steel fabricator and erector. POSITION SUMMARY
The Scheduling Manager develops, maintains, and analyzes project schedules. The Scheduling Manager is responsible for the efforts of others including field schedulers, scheduling consultants, and project teams.

Schedule Development
Develops proposal and pre-construction schedules.
Participates in project kickoff and startup meetings.
Works with project team to develop the Project Execution Plan and Baseline Schedule and assists with the creation of documentation as required to gain approval of Baseline Schedules.
Ensures work follows contract documents and company policy.
Facilitates Planning Meetings and Scheduling Workshops to develop execution plans and create data to input into schedule.
Loads resources into schedule activities with tiebacks to the project estimate and provides analysis on resource leveling.
Lead discussions with internal project team members and subcontractors to develop and implement a Resource Loaded Schedule per Standard Operating Procedures.
Travels to Company and subsidiary offices; offsite client, subcontractor, and supplier meetings; and other locations across North America to fulfill the essential duties of the role as required.
Exhibits regular and reliable attendance in person as required by the Supervisor, Company guidelines, and/or project and office obligations.
Project Schedule Update & Analysis
Collects status information provided by others and enters into schedule.
Reviews and records physical site conditions in order to verify information provided by others.
Analyzes and reports changes to critical path and all other significant variances; suggests ways to optimize.
Analyzes performance to date and uses all data at hand (e.g. production rates, forecasted resource demands) to forecast future performance.
Identifies and analyzes potential schedule risk events and communicates to Project Manager for action.
Uses and develops custom scheduling reports that serve the client's and company's needs and is capable of relating to overall performance of the project.
Develops “what if” scenarios or “work around” plans as required.
Documents all changes and adverse conditions as a part of claims avoidance.
Other Project Controls Tools
Develops and maintains 4D Models as appropriate for projects and pursuits.
Performs productivity/production analysis and develops/customizes systems for use on projects.
Policies, Tools, & Procedures
Understands and implements the Standard Operating Procedure for scheduling as well as other related procedures.
Recommends changes to policies and procedures to improve the efficiency of planning and scheduling of projects.
Oversight & Analysis
Participates in regular schedule reviews performed by the project's responsible scheduler and Financial Manager.
Supervises scheduling work performed by field schedulers.
Provides regular peer review/audit of schedules to ensure compliance with SOP requirements.
Improving Internal Capabilities
Acts as a resource for “On the Job” scheduling training of team members.
Contribute to an online Frequently Asked Questions system to provide self-help training articles related to scheduling and other project controls topics.
Acts as an ad-hoc resource to review and correct resource loading for other projects.
Management Responsibilities
Supervises project-site schedulers and supports internal scheduling personnel, scheduling consultants, and providing expert scheduling/planning oversight and direction to project site teams.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field and 7+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient knowledge of construction logistics, techniques, materials, equipment, crew sizing, and sequencing is required.
Experience with multiple construction market types (healthcare, automotive, civil, industrial, sports facilities, etc.) is preferred.
Thorough understanding of scheduling software, particularly Primavera P6, is preferred.
The Scheduling Engineer may permanently reside in any area in the United States (no relocation to St. Louis is required), but must be willing to be stationed at any project site across North America.
