We are looking for someone who is patient, engaging, and creative in thinking about the art of teaching. Our curriculum for 6-12 travels from mythology and science fiction to selections of World and American literature from various time periods and authors, examining novels, short stories, poetry, creative non-fiction, and plays along the way. In addition, at some grade levels, we maintain a dynamic rotation of topics courses. Even when teaching the same course for multiple years, teachers in our department frequently teach new texts, build new units, and craft new assessments.
