This position will also, on occasion, work at our 1217 1st St location downtown and will be dual certified as a Community Health Worker (CHW) to best meet the needs of the Respite clients. Our ideal candidate is someone with strong critical thinking skills, a client-centered mindset, and the ability to work well with diverse populations. Though there are no home visits associated with this CSW position, the candidate must be comfortable with transporting clients in our company vehicles. The caseload will vary dependent on need and can include up to 30 patients. Candidates must be able to complete documentation of encounters within 72 hours of the visit date. AHCH practices a harm reduction approach in all services and we seek candidates that embrace and uphold this philosophy and provide services within a trauma informed framework.
