Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company is looking for a Project Engineer with marine or waterfront construction experience for the Pearl Harbor Dry Dock Replacement project. The Project Engineer administers the prime contract for the project, administers all subcontractors for the project, performs materials controls and is responsible for other duties as assigned. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES Develop Work Plans, Work Schedules (three week look- ahead), Suretrack/Primavera P6 knowledge. Prepare/Maintain Submittal, Material Status logs, Prepare Submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), Billings. Review shop drawings, submittal from Subs. for compliance with plans and specifications. Perform contract administration. Prepare owner notifications and correspondence. Conduct weekly meetings. with Subs. Prepare mtg. minutes and agenda. EXPERIENCE Minimum 7 years of experience in construction of piers, wharves, bulkheads including piledriving, sheet piledriving, form-work, steel reinforcement placement and concrete placement for marine structures. Knowledge of dredging, rock revetment/dyke construction as well as utility (water, sewer, electrical) installation for waterfront/marine structures. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Communication: Write, speak and communicate fluently in English. Technical Skills: Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Suretrack/Primavera P6.     Tutor Perini Corporation is seeking a Field Safety Engineer to join our Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) project in Honolulu, HI Extraordinary Projects, Exceptional Performance The world relies on infrastructure - to ensure public safety, maintain a quality of life and support a healthy economy. Tutor Perini is the general contractor for the HART City Center Guideway and Stations project. The scope of the approximately $1.66 billion contract includes the design and construction of six rail stations and approximately three miles of elevated rail guideway beginning just east of the Middle Street Transit Center Station and ending at the Civic Center Station, which will be located just east of the intersection of Halekauwila Street and South Street in downtown Honolulu. Project design is expected to begin immediately while construction is estimated to commence in the second half of 2025. Construction of this segment is expected to be substantially completed in 2030. Extraordinary Projects need Exceptional Talent DESCRIPTION: As a Field Safety Engineer at Tutor Perini Corp., reporting to Field Safety Manager, you will have the opportunity to: * Maintains a SAFE jobsite, by monitoring work in progress to ensure adherence with policies and procedures for safety and takes appropriate action to correct any safety issues or deficiencies * Coordinates with project team, leaders and owners, as needed * Ensures training requirements are adhered to and maintains all training documentation * Monitors sub-contractor safety training * Other duties as assigned by the Field Safety Manager REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor degree in a safety related program from an accredited institution * 5 or more years of construction safety experience * Willingness to work different shifts on the project * Certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals as a CHST, ASP, SMS, or CSP * Proficient in Microsoft office and computer skills * Ability to conduct safety training and comfortable talking in front of large groups * Current certification in CPR and standard first aid * Completion of the 30-hour OSHA Construction Outreach Course or equivalent * Have attended Competent Person Level training within the past five years in: o fall protection o excavation and trenching o scaffolding, electrical safety (NFPA 70E), o respirable crystalline silica o respiratory protection o confined space for construction o rigging and hand signaling for cranes The expected salary range for this position is $110,000 - 140,000 depending upon experience Tutor Perini builds extraordinary projects with exceptional talent.
