Proficient with estimating software (or willingness to learn) and Microsoft Office (Excel especially). Familiarity with industry unit-cost databases a plus. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication (you'll interface with sales, subcontractors, vendors). Self-motivated, able to manage multiple bids/projects concurrently under deadlines. Ability to perform site visits if required.
