Job Description This position is responsible for receiving, storing, and moving material throughout the factory, warehouse, stockroom, and general premises, and assists production operations and other staff as necessary. This position is responsible for ensuring the production of safe, high-quality food products in compliance with regulatory, customer, and company standards. This role leads the facility's food safety and quality programs, oversees compliance with HACCP, FSMA, and GFSI requirements, and provides leadership to QA and sanitation teams to maintain continuous improvement in quality systems and plant hygiene. Essential Functions Quality Assurance & Compliance Manage and maintain the plant's Quality Management System (QMS) to meet internal, customer, and third-party audit requirements. Oversee daily QA operations including product testing, process verification, and documentation review. Lead and coordinate internal, customer, and regulatory audits (FDA, USDA, State, GFSI). Investigate non-conformances, implement root cause analysis, and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs). This entry-level position is responsible for learning and training on a variety of tasks to process, dry and package whey products that meet customer expectations and support the achievement of the company's vision, mission and values. Essential Functions Provide assistance to operators and learn the basics of each position. Perform preventative operator maintenance (POM) duties and complete additional cleaning tasks as determined by the supervisor. Provide support to Whey Operator during CIP process. Monitor, test and correct CIP concentrations. Assist and support cleaning-related POMs. Assist in CIP on MP RO/POL, Water HTST and all associated lines, tanks and equipment according to SOPs. Provide support to Lactose Operator and Evap Operator during CIP process. Job Description SCHEDULE: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 pm to 4:30 am The Welder is responsible for performing welding tasks involved in the construction of trailer base frames, walls, roofs, doors, ramps, and gates for various aluminum-framed trailers. This includes measuring, cutting, and welding of aluminum trailer components. FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reads and follows blueprints and work orders, ensuring a quality product that meets customer demands. Welds different facets of aluminum trailers, including but not limited to: tacking, clamping, and welding with proper bead size on bases and cages by the work order; ensures the quality of welds for structural integrity. Obtains raw materials from the Material Handlers. Buff out rough edges using a hand-held power grinder. Notifies supervisor of any mechanical or material issues, including but not limited to, defects in material, damage to the trailer, and deviations from the work order. Ensures that the finished product meets quality expectations. Strives for the highest level of quality and understands the need for continuous improvement; supports the concept of “good enough is never good enough”. This includes measuring, cutting, and drilling of aluminum, plywood, and skins. All Production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of Production. Position offers job training. Obtains raw materials from Material Handlers. Cut material in accordance with specifications on the cut list. Job Description SCHEDULE: Monday-Thursday 5:30 pm to 4:00 am (2nd Shift) The Welder is responsible for performing welding tasks involved in the construction of trailer base frames, walls, roofs, doors, ramps, and gates for various aluminum-framed trailers. This includes measuring, cutting, and welding of aluminum trailer components. FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reads and follows blueprints and work orders, ensuring a quality product that meets customer demands. Welds different facets of aluminum trailers, including but not limited to: tacking, clamping, and welding with proper bead size on bases and cages by the work order; ensures the quality of welds for structural integrity. Obtains raw materials from the Material Handlers. Buff out rough edges using a hand-held power grinder. Notifies supervisor of any mechanical or material issues, including but not limited to, defects in material, damage to the trailer, and deviations from the work order. Ensures that the finished product meets quality expectations. Strives for the highest level of quality and understands the need for continuous improvement; supports the concept of “good enough is never good enough”. Maintains a clean and safe work area; works to minimize scrap, places unused material back in the appropriate area, and disposes of waste appropriately. Follows all safety procedures, wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and immediately reports any accidents or near misses to the supervisor. Performs other related duties and assignments as required. DESIRED EDUCATION//EXPERIENCE: Minimum: previous welding experience and ability to read a tape measure. Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is helpful Prior welding experience with aluminum or steel is desired. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Must be able to work quickly without sacrificing quality or safety Must have a keen understanding of manufacturing processes.
