Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all production activities within the trailer manufacturing facility. This role focuses on leading fabrication and assembly operations to meet production goals while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on experience in metal fabrication and trailer assembly, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct and manage daily trailer fabrication and assembly operations to meet production schedules, quality standards, and cost objectives.
Lead and coach supervisors, team leads, and production employees to achieve operational targets.
Ensure proper coordination between welding, fabrication, decals and final assembly departments to maintain production flow.
Monitor production performance metrics (output, efficiency, scrap, rework) and implement corrective actions as needed.
Champion safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
Maintain high-quality standards by ensuring work meets engineering and customer specifications.
Drive lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement projects to increase throughput and reduce waste.
Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to minimize downtime and support equipment reliability.
Partner with HR to support staffing, training, and performance management of production teams.
Prepare and present daily/weekly production reports to senior leadership.
Manages the employee schedule to ensure adequate labor is available to meet production targets. Maintains the labor rate within the established range and seeks to improve efficiencies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
Preferred 5 years of leadership experience in a metal fabrication or trailer manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of fabrication, welding, and assembly operations.
Demonstrated success in leading teams to meet or exceed production targets.
Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement processes.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/production scheduling systems.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Directs scheduling, planning, materials management, and master data teams that results in

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitates and directs the development of the master schedule.
Leads, informs, directs and coordinates support departments to optimize production goals and sales opportunities. Communicates awareness of changing customer needs and cost awareness to manufacturing and manufacturing support departments.
Responsible for creating and maintaining the monthly and quarterly sales and production plans. Drives the production and sales planning required to meet the customer demands as well as site financials goals. Leads the monthly S&OP planning process: Forecasting, Demand Planning, Supply/Capacity Review, and Executive S&OP meeting.
Directs and advises Purchasing and Logistics to resolve demand issues to optimize the production plan, customer satisfaction, cash flow and target inventory levels. Remove barriers related to global supply chain shortages / delays.
Directs creation of production job orders and provides feedback to customer service on order scheduling, issues and changes.
Collaborates with Project Management, Engineering, Production, Maintenance, and Quality to schedule line time as needed to support project and equipment work.
Directs short term and long-term production meetings to meet customer needs and maximize schedule optimization.
Leads capacity discussions with Senior Management advising of schedule conflicts, issues and bottle necks in meeting customer satisfaction and production goals.
Compiles data and publishes metrics as they pertain to schedule attainment, future demands, purchasing forecasts, current inventory levels and on time delivery metrics.
Publishes reports and leads discussions on past schedule performance and future capacity challenges to stimulate continuous improvement discussions and implementations.
Establishes best business practices as it relates to scheduling, planning, materials management and inventory control.
Reviews and certifies BOMs and new item cards to ensure they are properly represented in the data base with all information pertinent to the scheduling of production, ordering of materials and support of the host and ERP systems.
Coordinates with IT for update and upgrades implementation to the host and ERP systems. Suggests and partners with IT for improvements to the computer systems to aid all areas. Fosters growth and development of the ERP system to foster continues improvement of systems.
Partners with Production Managers in current and future labor planning and resource allocations to best execute the production plan in the most economical environment.
Acts as a resource in weekly customer service calls and vendor calls as needed.
Performs as an active member of change control team, slow and obsolescence inventory team and process improvement teams.
Acts as a resource to other disciplines as it relates to materials management, scheduling, planning and other procedures.
Completes other duties as business and Senor Management dictate.
QUALIFICATIONS:

BS in Materials Management or Business or experience equivalent
Experienced in production planning and scheduling.
Knowledge of forecast and demand planning and systems.
Experienced in best practices in materials management and production control.
Complete understanding of leading the S&OP Process.

The Butte office of the Montana Bureau of Mines and Geology (Montana's state geologic survey) seeks a highly motivated quantitative hydrogeologist trained in groundwater modeling techniques to develop and apply groundwater models for water resources evaluation. The MBMG's Ground Water Investigation Program studies local- to regional-scale hydrogeologic systems, with projects that encompass groundwater/surface-water interactions and groundwater quantity and quality. A primary focus of the position will be to use groundwater modeling, scripting/programming, parameter estimation, GIS, and visualization software to develop and apply groundwater flow models for water resources evaluations. Responsibilities also include aiding in project design, collecting and interpreting geologic and hydrogeologic data, and writing reports.
The successful candidate will join a vibrant group of geoscientists committed to providing high-quality data and interpretations to support the orderly and responsible development of Montana's natural resources. The MBMG is a department of the Montana Technological University, but this is a non-tenurable, non-teaching position. Application reviews will begin on October 20, 2025. Required Qualifications:
Minimum requirements for hiring levels:
Assistant Hydrogeologist: Master's Degree and 3 years relevant experience or Doctoral Degree, in geology, hydrology, hydrogeology, or closely related field.
Associate Hydrogeologist: Master's Degree and 8 years relevant experience in geology, hydrology, hydrogeology, or closely related field or Doctoral Degree and 5 years' experience.
Graduate-level coursework in geology, hydrogeology, and numerical groundwater flow modeling.
Applicable hydrogeologic/geologic field experience.
Demonstrated experience developing conceptual groundwater models, including water-budget estimates.
Demonstrated experience implementing conceptual models as numerical models using modern versions of MODFLOW (e.g., MODFLOW-NWT, MODFLOW-USG, or MODFLOW 6) and associated pre- and post-processing software.
Strong technical writing and communications skills demonstrated through a record of reports and presentations listed in your résumé.
Proficiency with common word-processing and spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
A valid Montana driver's license (or ability to acquire one).

Preferred Qualifications:
Groundwater project experience from design and data collection through interpretation and publication.
GIS skills, including project creation, geospatial data analysis, and interpretation.
Experience with developing code for efficient pre- and post-processing of model inputs and outputs, particularly using Python, R, or similar languages; familiarity with Fortran is also desirable.
Experience with techniques for model calibration through parameter estimation and uncertainty analysis of model predictions, such as through PEST.
Experience using MODFLOW models with unstructured grids.
Familiarity with traditional aquifer test analysis methods and simulation of aquifer tests in numerical models.
Familiarity with variably saturated groundwater flow modeling (e.g., HYDRUS) or coupled groundwater-surface water flow (e.g., GSFLOW).
Familiarity with surface water (e.g., RiverWare), watershed (e.g., PRMS or HSPF), hydraulic (HEC-RAS), and geochemical (e.g., PHREEQC, Geochemist's Workbench, or MINTEQ) modeling.

The Senior Electronics Engineer will lead the design and implementation of testing of embedded systems for Milwaukee Tool's Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) products. You will work through the product development process in a team environment interacting with cross-functional stakeholders such as hardware, firmware, product development, and reliability engineers.
You'll also be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:
Executing a lead role for the design, prototype, test and troubleshooting embedded electronics hardware and firmware.
Create new circuit designs using schematic capture, PCB layout software, SPICE, and knowledge of industry best practices.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Welder is responsible for performing tasks involved in the production of bases and frames of aluminum trailers. This includes measuring, cutting, and welding of aluminum.
Reads and follows blueprints and work orders ensuring a quality product that meets customer demands.
Welds different facets of a trailer, including but not limited to: tacking, clamping, and welding with proper bead size on bases and cages in accordance with the work order; ensures quality of welds for structural integrity.
Obtains raw materials from Material Handlers.
Buffs out rough edges using a hand-held power grinder.
Notifies supervisor of any mechanical or material issues including but not limited to, defects in material, damage to the trailer, and deviations from work order.
Ensures that finished product meets quality expectations. Strives for the highest level of quality and understands the need for continuous improvement; supports the concept of “good enough is never good enough.”
Maintains a clean and safe work area; works to minimize scrap, places unused material back in appropriate area, and disposes of waste appropriately.
Follows all safety procedures, wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and reports any accidents or near misses to supervisor immediately.
Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
